Honda does not share their codes with repair shops outside of dealerships and so they could not fix what was wrong with my car. Because of this, they did not charge me for the diagnostic. They even called around to try to find another place that could fix my car.
Unfortunately, only the dealership has the codes around here. They were completely honest and straightforward with me. The people working the front counter were very kind and explained everything that I needed help with. Will be using them again! Bob and team were fantastic. And their honesty saved me a bundle in unnecessary repairs that another shop was sure I needed!

The condenser is a device mounted in front of the radiator and behind the grille; it looks a lot like a radiator. The condenser is used to change the high-pressure Freon vapor to a liquid. Air flowing through the condenser removes heat from the Freon changing it to a liquid state or now a refrigerant.
The purpose of automatic transmission fluid is to lubricate, clean, cool and provide the hydraulic pressure necessary to ensure smooth operation of the vehicle's transmission. An automatic transmission creates a great deal of internal heat from friction. Under normal driving conditions, a transmission operates at 175 degrees which is the normal range most fluids are designed to operate.

I took my elderly parents minivan in to Honest 1 to have the squeak from a pulley that was causing a burnt smell of a belt fixed or replaced.
picked up the van the next day with the same squeak and the same burnt smell.
They did however replace 2 pulleys and the belt. One pulley had already been replaced and I told them this.
I thought they would troubleshoot the issue before replacing anything but I was sadly mistaken.

Bob, Kris, and Trevor were professional, friendly, and serviceable (they were conscientious and courteous to my scheduling and rescheduling an appointment, amenable to my leaving my car at the shop for emissions testing, detail-oriented in correcting a misprint on my test report, and helpful in trying to renew my vehicle registration and save me a return-trip to the DMV). And the team in the shop capably serviced and returned my car, with courtesy. Thank you, Honest 1 team.

Everything was great! Prices, care, friendliness. It took 2-3 hours just to get the diagnostic done when we had an appointment, let alone the actual repair so that’s why I took a star off, but I’d rather wait and have good service then have mediocre service Thats fast

The CV Axle on my front passenger side busted and left me without a car. They worked with me to get it in and done as quickly as possible. They were extremely professional and gave me a full report on my car with suggestions on things that I should eventually get fixed/maintained but without pressuring me to do it at that moment. There were no hidden costs and fees or random extra things added to my repair. The cost was reasonable and I definitely plan to go back again. They aren’t here to play anybody. Everyone there is great, especially Kris who was always friendly and willing to help! She
