One of my favorite activities we did in Alaska. We saw sea otters, sea lions, seals, puffins, eagles and humpback whales. We also toured a really cool volcanic island. The boat was not overly crowded and was very comfortable. The employees were so nice. The naturalist was great. I noted that another reviewer indicated that there were some safety issues, but I felt completely safe. Masks were required inside, but not outside.

We did this sea otter tour on our Alaskan cruise. Not only were we blessed with a raft of otters and several eagles, we also spotted easily a dozen whales. The boat was not crowded, the crew was knowledgeable and engaging. We very much enjoyed it.

We did a whale watching tour with this group and it was incredible. The gentleman narrating the trip was very informative, as was the captain. We saw multiple whales, as well as sea otters and bald eagles. We also went in between some of the small islands off of Sitka. As we pulled into the harbor, the captain also explained some of the buildings we were seeing and gave us a brief history of Sitka. I highly recommend using Allen Marine for your wildlife tours.

We took one of the last tours of the season (late September) and were pleasantly surprised!
Our guide was a young local guy and REALLY knew his stuff. you could tell how passionate he was about Sitka, as well as the animals that lived there.
During our morning tour on the St. Eugene we saw:
- Eagles
- Otters
- Whales
- Birds
- Beautiful views
On board the boat you can stay below where it's enclosed and warm, or go above to the viewing deck where it's open to the air and better for photos
There are 2 washrooms on the boat
During the tour they hand out free coffee and hot chocolate, and
