We are fortunate to have Gold Country Power Equipment in our neighborhood. They are a fully stocked full service power equipment company that provides a wide range of Husqvarna, Shindaiwa, Toro, Bear Cat and Briggs & Stratton power equipment, parts, supplies and accessories. Their Service Department provides 5 star service at fair and very competitive rates and the work is completed on time or before their estimated completion date. The store is professionally designed and layed out. Jackie and Gill go above and beyond the call of duty, as they provide knowledgeable and excellent service. I can’t

Angry New Owner
This business has been sold to someone new. Steve, the previous owner, was a pleasant & helpful person–a nice guy. Unfortunately, the new owner is exactly the opposite. I walked in with a weed eater hoping to ask Steve if it was worth looking at. Before I said a word, the new guy gave me an extremely dirty look and wanted to know if I had an appointment. I was astounded by the level of hostility and did my best avoid getting his hackles up any further. I was able to find out enough to know that except for buying repair parts unavailable anywhere else, I never wanted to come back

You would assume that a chainsaw shop would be able to sell you the right chain for your saw. Got to the jobsite and was ready to swap chains only to find out I was given the wrong one. Pretty basic stuff guys...

I bought a new weed whacker last year and they helped me get everything I needed along with a mini class on how to wire it up, and maintain it. I was in and out in a few minutes and have never had any issues with. Great Service, Good Products, Excellent Customer Service!

I picked up a very nice Husqvarna wheeled string trimmer at a very competitive price. I took it home and unknowingly topped off the tank with watered down gas. I took it straight back when it wouldn't run and Steve took it apart, figured out the issue, repaired it, and topped it off with fresh fuel. All for no charge. That's the kind of small town service that will have me as a return customer for life. Thank God I didn't go to a big box stores...

I try to support local businesses. I bought a new handheld leaf blower from this business a few years back. This fall, the blower had a fuel problem (primer bulb wouldn't prime). Brought it in for what I thought was an easy repair and noted the sign said "two weeks for repair work". Without asking, I was assured by the young lady behind the counter stated that it wouldn't be two weeks. After a week or no calls I received a voicemail message from the same young lady that my blower was available for pick-up. When arriving I found the bill due was just short of $125.00. Wow! A new blower of the same

Do not take anything to this center for repair. Took in a lawnmower that is under warranty and they made all the repairs and are supposed to call Sears for authorization but won’t. Long story short, they will not call Sears or do anything. Repairs have been done for three weeks. Showed them our warranty paperwork. Said they will just hold our lawnmower hostage until they hear from Sears with a big smile. The owner used the “F” word right in the store and told us to leave There are other repair places around. This is a very low class establishment with a very low class employee pool. Go somewhere

I've bought a few items from here and really want to support the local businesses but this place is doing some shady things nowadays. Recently bought a chainsaw and looked at the 2nd page of my receipt (I'm assuming there are two pages to hide their deceptive practices) and noticed a charge of almost $13. When I called and asked about it, I was told it's for using a debit card instead of cash. I understand a small charge but almost $13?! That's two to three times worse than using an ATM machine at a casino. I would have just went down the street to the bank to get cash if they would have told me

I have tried to support this local, family owned business over the years, but after several disappointing recent experiences, I can no longer do so. I took my weed eater there, waited 3.5 weeks, paid my $100, and when I returned it the next day (it wasn't working right) and explained what was wrong with it, the owner didn't listen to what I said, fired it up, and said "It's working fine". I re-explained that it ran at high rpm beautifully, but the problem involved it idling poorly, he still didn't listen, and handed it back to me. This business started off as a place where they wanted to help their
