A pleasure working with Nazli! I had a few dresses altered by her and each of them ended up much nicer than when they were bought. She pays a lot of attention to detail, centering all what needs to be centered and aligned. Also, she does not take forever to return your merchandise. She is also very good with custom couture, and you can trust the final product as being a work of art.

I went to Nazli to alter my wedding dress two years after it was purchased, due to rescheduling the wedding a few times. When I purchased the dress I was 6 months pregnant. As you can imagine, it required a lot of work. I had some ideas for the dress, but Nazli steered me in better directions as she coached me on how to make the dress work best with my figure. She added straps to the dress, which I believe allowed me to enjoy my night without having to yank on the dress to keep it up, something that was not part of my "vision". All of Nazli's 5 star reviews are 100% accurate. She is AMAZING! She did such a great job with my wedding gown, I'm obsessed with how it came out and how well it not only fit me, but accentuated my shape. She is a pleasure to work with (so sweet!), always listens to what you want and does what is needed to deliver, and her location is so well located in the heart of downtown Ridgewood. I took my wedding gown to Nazli's 3 months before my wedding, she told me not to worry I had plenty of time. It didn't need much work, and by my second fitting (1 month after bringing it in) all she needed to do was sew in the cups and make the bustle. She told me it might be tricky with my gown being beaded and very heavy, but that she would figure something out and that she had "had this gown before." Honest review here and it's a bit disappointing considering everything I've read.
I dropped my bridesmaid's dress off over 2 weeks ago to be tailored. I felt very rushed and slightly ignored but nevertheless, I dropped my dress off and gave the woman the details/ date I needed to pickup.
When I didn't hear from her a week before the wedding I called to follow up and was told to "not rush her". I wasn't rushing, I just wasn't sure when I was supposed to pick up my dress when the wedding was less than a week away.

Nazli ruined my Mother of the Bride gown - I would NEVER recommend her.
Seeing the reviews, I gave her a call 1 month before the late Sept. wedding - she told me I had plenty of time, which later on, she told me that it was my fault that she didn't have enough time! (Btw, her site says she only has 1 person at a time during covid, a lie, since she had 1 or 2 persons coming in each time I was there without masks.) I bought a Victoria Beckham embroidered jacket from Ebay but thought it could use some tailoring. I went Nazli and she was honest in saying the construction of the jacket was a little tricky and didn't think it was worth paying for complicated alterations.
But she took the time and folded the sleeves in a way and showed me that it still looked good if I didn't zip up the jacket and just let it drape.
I was very impressed how honest and practical she was. Other tailors might just do whatever a customer asks even if it doesn't make sense and charge a lot for their services.

Nazli did a beautiful job taking in my daughter's flower girl dress. It was a little too big in the shoulders, and she knew just how to cinch it in so that it wouldn't fall off but preserved the beautiful back "v" cut of the dress. She was also very kind and patient with my overly excited 6-year-old, and made her feel beautiful and extra-special throughout the process.
The price was reasonable, and she had the dress ready right on time. We will definitely be back with all of our tailoring needs!

Brought a bridesmaid dress here to be altered after reading such good reviews. I have to say, I had a great experience as well. I had brought the dress to her about 2 months before and it was done in time. It fit me perfectly. Quick service and reasonably priced. I'll most likely bring my next bridesmaid dress back to be altered here as well.

She did an amazing job on my wedding dress.I received so many compliments. The entire bodice had to be reconstructed to fit my smaller frame. The alterations were reasonably priced and she did it in 2 fittings a week before the wedding. I would recommend my friends and family in need of alteration services. Her friendly, professional demeanor was icing on the cake. Definitely a plus 1 customer service experience.

Nazli recently not only altered my wedding gown for it to fit me perfectly, but completely changed it to help make a gown I fell in love with more "me". I wasn't completely sure what I wanted, but I know I didn't want to keep the original straps. I told her what I wanted and she listened and made from scratch what I envisioned. She went to the store and found the tulle that matched the gown and made new straps for me which I absolutely LOVED.

I live in the city but my in-laws live in Wyckoff - as a budget conscious bride, I shopped around for alteration estimates. Ridgewood was much more affordable than NYC and I didn't mind taking the train out for appointments. I had about 4 fittings before I picked up my wedding dress. I was so fortunate to have "found" Nazli. My brother had brought me some raw Thai silk fabric and I wanted to surprise him with a dress created for our next family occasion. Nazli had several ideas, and finally settled upon one that would "flow with the softness of the silk."

I went to Nasli to have my wedding dress fitted. It was a complicated design with detailed silk and lace, and hand sewn embellishments. Nasli was professional and careful, taking detailed measurements and checking my wishes exactly. The gown came out better than I even hoped, the fit was beautiful and I have only the positive feedback for my experience. I will trust her with any future tailoring.
