Luxtailor specializes in restyling & renovation of your well-loved items including Couture & Vintage Pieces. We are known for tailoring vintage and couture pieces to make them look brand new. From repair to redesign, our tailors can renew the condition of your piece while maintaining the integrity of the design.
Luxtailor provides complimentary on-site fittings for Design Showrooms, Stylist Studios & Boutiques that enlist in our alteration services. We also provide short notice on-site services for Fashion Shows, Photoshoots & VIP Events. As for convenience for our private clientele, we can provide House Calls by appointment.

Best in the city! Basia and her staff are excellent. Not only is Basia highly technically skilled, she also knows the designers and the collections and thus, understands how the clothes should look and fit. Its a bonus that she and her staff are also extremely lovely, professional, and reliable. It is clear that everyone who works there takes their job and their clients very seriously.

The lining on my Rick Owens cropped stooges leather was completely shredded. In the body, the armholes, and into the sleeves. It required a complete overhaul and full replacement. The interior of mine has custom patches, zip pockets on either chest panel, is monogramed, and is embroidered DIRT SS18. The finished product was beyond anything i could have imaged… and all the interior souvenirs and pockets were replaced as well.

Basha is the besttttt. I have this oddly pieced dress from Junya that needed to be made smaller and had gone to 5 or 6 different tailors in LES and no one could do it. If you need something complex done that’s not the basic pants hemming, call up Basha

Luxtailor was recommended by the staff at Rick Owens. I needed the sleeves shortened on a leather jacket with cuffs, snaps and zipper detailing. A lot of work to restructure. They took my call and saw me right away and comforted me with assurances of their quality. They did not disappoint: there is no evidence that they even worked on the jacket, except that it now fits perfectly.

What I thought to be a simple hem and sleeve alteration on a Gucci suit and trousers (per my experiences from the dry-cleaner near me) ended up being an experience that was customized, with attention to unexpected details, leaving me with the impression that not only where my clothes in highly skilled and experienced hands but also caring ones.
As knit sweater was also repaired impeccably.

Luxtailor does incredible quality work! I took my Rick Owens leather jacket here because the sleeves were too long. I was nervous because the sleeves had zippers that made shortening them complicated. Luxtailor did an amazing job on my jacket. They maintained all of the original details for a reasonable price considering the complexity of the work. I will definitely trust them again with any of my designer clothes that need tailoring. I am a professional working in the luxury retail store on 57th and fifth avenue and myself and my staff must always be dressed to perfection and Ninel and her outstanding staff always keep us looking like we step off the runway.

The work is consistently of high quality, but sadly these aren't magicians. One time, I do feel like the shop girl was trying to oversell me -- and convinced me to shorten the bodice of a dress (a rare Raf Simons Jil Sander dress) when I only needed to taken in width. The slightly long bodice did cause the dress to wrinkle minimally -- however, they messed up the dress when sewing back up (wrong tension on the sewing machine), so the dress now has more wrinkles than before I paid a few hundred for this non-essential tailoring job. Given the rarity of the dress, I'm upset by this. However
