Still Sewing

Louise reupholstered two swivel chairs for me that had faded terribly in the sun. She brought me sample books of Sunbrella-type fabrics and was very helpful in helping me select a color and contrasting piping fabric to replicate the look of the existing chairs. She was very good at updating me as she progressed with my project and delivered them within the time we had agreed on. I would recommend her highly for any upholstery job you might have.

Louise Paquette is truly a Renaissance woman: painter, poet, and superior crafts person. After years of having tried different brands of seat cushions for our Windsor chairs, we decided to go the custom route. Louise made a pattern of the seat, helped us choose a fabric and even the density of the internal foam. All eight cushions fit perfectly and stay in place. These cushions get a lot of use and we couldn't be more pleased!
