Cadenza was formed to provide Homeowners and Builders top quality natural stone countertops at competitive prices. As founding members of the Stone Fabricators' Alliance we actively promote and sponsor education and training to increase quality throughout the stone fabrication industry. We invest in the best tradesmen, equipment and technology in an effort to perfect our trade.
We educate and train to continually hone our skills and improve our abilities. In 2006, we celebrated our 10th Anniversary by building a new, State-of-the-Art, Stone Fabricating facility complete with Digital, Laser, and CNC capability. This investment in technology allows us to produce countertops within extremely tight tolerances.

Granite, one of the hardest natural materials known to man, is composed primarily of quartz, feldspar and mica. The stone is quarried in large blocks which are then cut into slabs and polished. Granite is an igneous rock, meaning that it was once molten magma. Millions of years of time coupled with the earth's pressure has resulted in a wide variety of colors, textures and unique crystal patterns all breathtaking pieces of natural beauty.
Marble is made up primarily of Calcite and works beautifully in areas where the subtle veining patterns and colors that appear can be used to create exquisite designs. Marble has been used as a building material for centuries; think Taj Mahal, the Acropolis and the Coliseum as examples. While softer and more porous than granite, marble is not the ideal choice for those customers looking for an indestructible, maintenance-free product.
Porcelain slabs are made from ceramic clay and mineral coloring making it a highly durable, non-porous surface. Porcelain countertops are extremely durable as they are heat, scratch, and UV resistant which allows the surface to be installed as countertops, cladding, and flooring. The surface is non-porous and comes in remarkably realistic designs that mimic natural stone and concrete countertops.
Unlike natural stone that is cut from pure granite, marble or sandstone, engineered stone (Quartz) is made from quartz crystals held together with a resin binder. Quartz is a non-porous stone that does not need to be sealed like granite or other natural stones. Quartz is becoming more and more desirable due to the color selection, less movement and less maintenance.
