I'm a fun-loving, baby-obsessed, natural light photographer who may or may not crawl on the floor with your baby to get the perfect shot. I am a California girl with a New York soul. I have two incredible kids, a hunky husband, and a dog named Pixel. I started taking pictures when I lived in New York (I was a starving actress) and turned it into a full-time job after the birth of my daughter.
I've been growing my business for 10 years and have photographed over 1,000 families in the Bay Area and beyond. When I'm not photographing babies, you will find me running on my Peloton treadmill, mentoring other photographers with my business Crew52, or enjoying downtime with my family. We were so fortunate to have Katie out to photograph our family while she was in NYC with her family. She did such a beautiful job capturing the love and playfulness we share as as a family. She was fun and easy to communicate with and we had a lot of fun during the session. That says a lot when you have a 3 and 1 year old! Katie has done two photo shoots for me and my family. She's very professional and has great locations for different photo shoots. Katie is incredibly talented and has a gift of capturing people in their true element. Her kind, authentic, sweet personality helps create a calm environment when normally there is stress involved when taking pictures. Katie was fantastic. Truly, from start to finish. She promptly responded to my numerous questions about her packages and schedule, kept in contact with us between booking and delivery of our daughter, worked around our schedule for the shoot, helped us get through the shoot despite being exhausted new moms, and gave us a gallery of stunning photos. Katie is wonderful! She took some lovely shots of our newborn and even though he was crying for a lot of the time, she kept her cool and was able to work her photographic magic! She had a very calming presence, both for us and for the baby. The price was on the higher end compared to other photographers I had looked at, but to me, it was worth paying top dollar to capture my baby in such a priceless way. I often look at those photos and can't believe how much our baby has grown. These images will be treasured for years to come.

We recently had Katie come to our house to take newborn pictures of my 5 day-old daughter and a few shots with our family. I was a little nervous about my daughter only being 5 days old, but Katie did such an amazing job and had so much patience while we were trying to get my newborn to sleep for some of the shots as well as working with my 2 1/2 year-old toddler! Outside of the great in-person experience, the pictures are BEAUTIFUL!! We are very happy and definitely plan on using Katie again in the future :)

It was an easy drive, her studio was private and had great lighting. Katie has a nice way of making you feel comfortable and beautiful ( even when you are 38 weeks pregnant). Her posing techniques and props were incredible! She has a very natural organic style that looks perfect for newborns! I was on yelp and saw all the 5 stars reveiws and expect Katie's photos will come out perfect but instead I was disappointed. The poses and style of Katie's photo wasn't what I was hoping for ESP for that price. Overall I would give Katie's customer services an A, unfortunately I wouldnt be back for any more photos!

Katie did a fantastic job with our newborn photos. Katie was recommended by another mom through GGMG and I couldn't be happier with the referral. Katie was very flexible about scheduling our appointment, came on time, and brought a ton of equipment (including all of the adorable hats and other props).

We found Katie after reading all the glowing reviews on Yelp, and could not be happier with our newborn photos! They are very artful and captured our daughter just the way we had hoped. She was also glad to include the parents and grandma in the photoshoot too. Unlike some baby photographers, Katie comes to your home with all the cute props and hats so you don't have to deal with bringing your newborn out to a studio or buy hats that your baby will probably only wear once! I'm extremely excited that we found Katie to shoot our engagement photos and upcoming wedding. When we saw Katie's work we knew that we loved her style but were definitely a bit hesitant about whether she could shoot beyond babies and families. So we met with Katie and loved her personality and decided to do an engagement session as a trial. We were beyond thrilled with the outcome of the engagement photos.... we felt so comfortable with her and she was able to capture our personalities in the photos and they didn't feel staged.

Katie is a gifted photographer who can capture the true essence of kids. She recently did a shoot for my two year old daughter. She had lots of suggestions for props and shots that would look good. Katie is a true professional with a keen eye for an artistic view on everyday moments. She is patient, accomodating, and was mindful of my requests when taking pictures of my 4 month old son.

I was over the moon with the shots Katie took of our new born baby girl. She was professional, relaxed & completely understanding of the unco-operative nature of babies! She was patient when our little girl wouldn't sleep & then pooped on set!
