Anxiety, depression and relationship problems can make life very challenging. Finding a therapist with clinical training, life experience and patience can be the key to successful treatment. I would like to help you address your difficulties in a comfortable, empathetic environment. My style is warm, supportive and nonjudgmental.

In addition to working with adults, my practice specializes in addressing and treating the unique challenges faced by adolescents and teens. Treatment specializations include: ADHD; family/peer relationships; self-esteem; self-harming; substance abuse; grief and loss; parenting; adult survivors of childhood abuse.
Services
I work extensively with adolescents and teens in my current practice and previously at Rockland Children's Psychiatric Center and at Clarkstown North High School. I've counseled adults, both individuals and couples, privately and at Volunteer Counseling Services in New City.

My life experiences combined with my clinical training enable me to provide my clients an understanding and warm environment in which they can openly discuss and address their issues and challenges.
The challenges faced by adolescents and teens are different from those of adults and younger children. Experiences during this transformational time can shape and affect their outlook and their relationships - with friends, families, partners and co-workers - into adulthood.

It is important to find a therapist who is supportive and non-judgmental, who has the training and experience to treat the unique problems teens and adolescents must sometimes contend with.Call me for a free consultation to discuss your child's specific issues and how I may be able to help him or her work through them.
