It is always a pleasure to visit Petersburg Family Eye Care. I have been attending for many many years and it is sooooo worth the 35 minute commute! The practice is very professional and truly has a family nature. Dr. Testamark is very thorough, efficient, patient, caring and genuine. I'm trying to understand why I have not 1 but 2 insurances and receive a letter from a collection agency for a bill NEVER received in the first place! Especially for a date of service over a year ago. It's especially disturbing when you have had appointments occur after the service date in question and there was no mention of money owed. That was the final straw and I will be changing providers.

I had multiple e-mails reminding me I had an appointment at 12:30 PM. I arrived for my appointment at 12:20 PM. After waiting for 30 minutes in an empty waiting room I went to the receptionist at 1:00 PM and asked why my appointment was delayed. The answer was "I don't know, I only work here, would you like to re-schedule" Translation - "I don't care, I'm only here to pick up my pay check" .. I respected their time by showing up on time. They had no respect for my time. After being a patient for several years, I won't be going back.

My son and I were both seen here last year, their policy then was children 10 and older. I tried calling this year to schedule our next yearly appointment and now they have changed the policy to children 12 and older due to the vaccine. I asked how does that make sense if you are not requiring patients to have the vaccine but you won’t see children now younger than 12 because of it? Absolutely ridiculous and definitely told me what kind of office this doctor is running, will be taking my business somewhere else.

The doctor herself isn't the nicest person I would say and my 17yr old granddaughter feels the same way. Her attitude really needs to be checked. The other ladies were just great I would say. I stopped from getting her in order because my granddaughter needed her glasses but I won't be going back. Thank u

I had an appointment with the eye doctor. Jessica emailed me the morning of the appointment regarding my insurance. I promptly called the office to speak with her but was told she was with a client. Long story short, I never received a call back. I had to call my insurance company to have them verified my insurance Information. I had let Jessica know I live an hour away and I also had to obtain child care. It is now four hours later and still not the courtesy of a phone call. Bottom line, its not patient care with them, its the money care. Just received a response from them and it's all lies. Jessica

I’ve been two or three times now and every time it’s been an hour after my appointment time that I get to see the doctor. Last time and this time I heard the Dr and the staff talking about patients - both diagnoses and trash talking them. My retinal doctor made the appointment for me and I had no idea why other than I’m a glaucoma suspect and it had been a year since I’d been. That was read in my chart back to me but yet no eye pressure test was done to see if I went from suspect to having glaucoma even when I said I had sharp pains occasionally in that eye and it always felt like something

We enjoy our visits here. The hole experience is great. The staff works hard to get you set up for an easy flow from start to finish. We had to change our appointments 3 times before our actual date because of demands at our jobs, not a problem, they made it happen for us. Dr. Pat. Is the best. I recommend this practice to all my coworkers. They actually take our insurance plans, some practices don't.

Came here a couple of years ago and got my eye exam. Smooth sailing, or so I thought. I was "talked" into getting Poly lenses (heftier price tag) probably why they said that. So I bought them and went in to try them on and definitely had issues with the glasses. Told the lady that I had issues with the lenses cutting out at the center of each lenses and nothing on the sides. Its like the prescription was only from half over on each side. Then got told "I'm being too demanding" no honey, if demanding means so I can see so I wouldn't crash my car from not being able to see then to each their ownðŸ
