Dr. Eric Alvarado graduated from Parker University in 2008, establishing Restoring Life Chiropractic. Dr. Katrina Cardwell Joined him in practice in 2019. Together, our team is dedicated to improving the lives of people in our community through natural chiropractic care.

When Dr. Eric first encountered chiropractic, it was thanks to his martial arts hobby. A martial arts instructor who was a chiropractor influenced him, and he decided to make the natural healing profession his career path. To earn a Doctor of Chiropractic, he attended Parker University. I love that I get to place my hands on people and see healing happen.
Dr. Katrina's first career was in accounting and human resources. When she was about to go to school to get an MBA, her grandmother, who had been in the hospital, was going in for surgery. Then, her aunt was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Dr. Katrina would go to medical appointments here with her grandmother, then travel to Oklahoma City to see her aunt.

I cannot start to say how awesome the RLC crew are to everyone who comes through their door. I’ve about told everyone imaginable about the greatness of chiropractic care. Both Dr. Eric and Lauren go above and beyond to give the best care to our family! Whenever a concern is brought to them, they take the time to search it out and pays close attention to help align it back how it’s supposed to be. I love them! You won’t be disappointed. We’ve been with them for FOUR years and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!

It’s been over a decade since I saw a chiropractor and having just moved to Texas it was a “throw a dart at the map” situation as I had no reference. My husband found Restoring Life and chose it as it was less than a mile from our house. It was truly meant to be! I’m almost two months into my treatment and the acute lower back pain I’ve suffered from for most of my adult life is gone. I’m super grateful for their care, experience and expertise!

Chiropractic care at Restoring Life Chiropractic had been life changing for my 6yr old on the autism spectrum. I had always flirted with the idea of trying it but never did because he is nonverbal. My worry was about him being able to communicate with me if he was uncomfortable with the care. At the first appointment he legit looked at Dr. Eric, smiled huge and said YEAH after just one part of the adjustment. Within 2 weeks we saw a dramatic decrease in self injurious behaviors. When they do happen they are so much less intense. After 1 month we could see a marked difference in his attending to

We absolutely love Restoring Life! They have been so kind and patient with my daughter who is six years old and is autistic so adjustments can be extra scary for her. We have only been going a few weeks so far but have already noticed great improvement for our little girl in not only behavior but sleep. The ladies at the front desk are so sweet and are always ready to lend a helping hand. We always feel so welcomed every time we come in. I highly recommend this place!

I always have a wonderful experience at restoring life chiropractic. My doctor's there treat me with so much kindness and always ask me if it's okay to adjust me or if I'm uncomfortable in any way(which I never am because of the safe/homely environment). My main doctor Dr. Lauren is one of the sweetest and most caring people I've ever met. And Dr. Eric makes my x-rays go very smooth and quick. Ari and Kelly always welcome me into the building with a warm smile and good attitude which makes my mood always sky rocket. Restoring life chiropractic helps my neck and spine so much and my health issues

The "character" capacity I am certain would not allow me to express just how amazing Dr. Eric, Dr. Lauren, Kelly and Ari are!!!! Previous consults wanted me to seek a surgical resolution, so it was no accident I landed in the "gifted hands" of Dr. Eric. I had no use of my right hand/arm...after my Initial consult....I had use of both on my 1st physical therapy appt!!!!
I have never been so impressed with professional care, sincere warmth, follow-up, attention to detail and thoroughness that is consistent beyond expectation!
I am ahead of schedule.....and that is rare nowadays! I will never go

Dr. Eric and Dr. Lauren are simply the best! They take the time to really understand each person’s unique needs and treat you accordingly. They offer a very friendly and welcoming environment that makes you feel like family. Dr. Lauren has been instrumental in caring for me through 2 pregnancies now. I recommend chiropractic care to every expectant mama!
