In the middle, is my rock. My mama Kristi. Without her I probably would have fallen into insanity already and Flour Child would have gone into extinction. She helps with baking, front end, keeping me sane(and calm),a nd decorating. But most importantly she is my unofficial hype woman! I can't help but grin when I hear her up front talking up my sugar flowers to people who would have otherwise just thought they were real and looked away.

Services
Sugar florals handmade out of gumpaste by Flour Child. Sugar florals are a very delicate and beautiful keepsake to add onto your cake for your big day. They are not meant to be eaten. She can do pretty much anything so please provide a picture and size to receive a quote and order time estimates/availability.
ORDERS THAT REQUIRE PICKUP ON MONDAY, TUESDAY, OR WEDNESDAY will have a $400 minimum. If you are interested in a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday WEDDING or a large corporate order, please reach out to discuss. Minimum order of $400 is required for Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday events. Sundays are paid delivery only.

Love love love Flour Child! They are such kind ladies and everything they make is incredible! Emilee is amazing at responding to emails in a timely manner, even though she wears all the hats! I am always amazed that she can run her shop, do all the custom orders, and somehow still have time to respond to emails. Thank you for always being so great to work with!! I recently planned a convention in the Boise area and needed desserts for a large gala. I asked Emilee to come up with 45 unique dessert displays, one for each table. Every single dessert was a huge hit. From macarons to pies and gorgeous cakes, the desserts were a huge hit with our guests. Emilee's professionalism, responsiveness, timeliness, and customer service is the perfect compliment to her ability to produce phenomenal flavor in her desserts. Absolutely amazing!!

I recently ordered my wedding cake from Flour Child and could not be happier with how it turned out! Emilee was so accommodating and communicative! I loved how the Idaho wildflowers turned out on the cake, and the cake itself was so delicious! I would definitely order from here again in the future and cannot wait to try out the other desserts!

We used Flour Child for our wedding and the cake and cupcakes were amazing!!! Emilee has so many gluten free options which was fabulous for me and family with allergies. She met my vision perfectly! Everything was pretty and delicious. My only complaint is that email conversations were not convenient.

Flour Child Boise is amazing! I can't say enough about how great the whole process was from cake tasting, designing our beautiful cake to seeing it come to reality on our wedding day. Being two indecisive people, it was so helpful to work with Emilee as she is a true artist and can take your simple ideas and vision and truly make masterpieces. The cake and all of our wedding treats were not only beautiful but incredibly delicious. We combined my 30th birthday and our gender reveal, so we wanted to have a special cake made. Flour child made the most beautiful and delicious cake for our celebration!!! Since my husband has not been able to attend Dr. appt's with me (COVID), it was really special being able to find out our first baby's gender together still. I got the results in a sealed envelope at my appt and brought it directly to Flour Child and voila! Emilee was so easy to communicate with and she did such an amazing job! We wanted a simple cake that we could embellish with flowers and our cake topper. Emilee did a great job with the frosting and did exactly the style we asked. We also really liked the Strawberry cream filling. The mini pies, tarts, and cupcakes looked excellent on display and received many compliments. I would highly recommend the s’more brownies, especially for a mountain themed wedding. Everything was packaged so neatly for our drive to Stanley. The cake even held up on the long windy road. This is my favorite little place to pick up macaroons! I've been here several times, and not one flavor of macaroons has failed to make my day. While I normally go for the macaroons, they also make delicious ice cream sandwiches with fresh baked cookies that are to die for! Other delicious treats include frozen chocolate bananas that taste like heaven any day. Thanks for always pullin' through with the sweet treats!

This little bakery has been one of my favorites for the past few years. Whenever I need a specialty cookie or treat, we swing by. They have this KitKat cookie bar that is cold and crunchy and chocolatey and caramely. Yuuumm. It's my favorite thing to get.
The space is small, but most people get stuff to go. They also have ice cream and do the most amazing custom cakes. Sometimes I just stand and look at the owner's look book. It's truly amazing.

I ordered a Lemon Huckleberry cake for my daughter's 3rd Birthday and the outcome of the cake was both beautiful and delicious!!! Most importantly the entire cake was covered in buttercream rather than fondant (which I'm not a fan of). Emilee was really accommodating and her emails reply are always prompt too. So for those who wish to have good quality cakes with beautiful artworks, Flour Child is definitely the way to go!!!!!!

This is a small hole in the wall bakery with nearly no seating, a small bakery case and a building full of flavor.
My daughter wanted to go Macaroon tasting for her birthday. We remembered this place from an earlier visit and wasn't even sure they were still open. We'd tried every place in downtown Boise that sold macaroons and to say they were all terrible would be an understatement. We decided to make one more stop, out of the way and boy was that the right decision!

Emilee worked with me to create the most adorable and DELICIOUS gender reveal cake! She was so accommodating to my NO SO accommodating time frame to complete the cake and turned it around without any hesitation or complaints.
