Dr. Tobey moved to Bend in 1991 with his wife and children, and the timing couldn't have been more perfect as the area was just starting to grow and take off. Ever since, he's been providing focused, effective and powerful chiropractic adjustments to patients of all walks of life. At Dr. Michael Tobey Chiropractic, we're happy to work with patients of all walks of life, from children to adults and seniors and everyone in between.
Krista has lived in Central Oregon for twenty years now and loves all that it has to offer. She has two beautiful girls who keep her busy outside of work. Nine years ago, when she started working in the chiropractic field, she knew she had found her calling. Krista believes that our health is our most valuable possession and that chiropractic care should be a part of everyone's life.
Your body was designed to move. Dr. Tobey likes to describe it like this-for the first half of your life (until around age 40), moving is easy, and happens without much thought or work on your end. After 40, the stresses of life can take a toll-mental stressors add up, oversitting strains our muscles, poor diets wreak havoc internally, and suddenly, movement becomes harder.
Out of the Bend chiropractors available to you, we see ourselves as the old-school-general-practitioner type. That means we help a wide variety of patients, mostly families, with a wide variety of complaints. This is a common manifestation of spinal problems in the upper neck. We've helped so many Bend residents with headaches and migraines that it's practically routine.

When I first moved to town a few years ago I was in desperate need of a chiropractor but am very picky as I'm a bit scared of being cracked if ya know what I mean.. I found Dr Tobey's office and immediately felt welcome and comfortable. The office staff is extremely kind and accommodating. I was assigned to Dr. Angell and I can't say enough good things about his care! I was in a 5 car pile up years ago so I struggle with back & neck pain and need to be seen pretty consistently... He had a very gentle approach and listened to all my concerns as well as my hesitancy to actual cracking as I was used

The atmosphere in Dr. Tobey's office is relaxing, positive and inviting. The staff is friendly, outgoing and professional. Dr. Tobey himself went above and beyond to help me feel comfortable. I had never been to a chiropractor before and was very apprehensive. The experience was enjoyable, and NOT painful. :)

I had lower back issues for most of my young-adult life, and had never really been to (or trusted the services of) a chiropractor. About 10 years ago, I met Dr. Tobey, and he did a full assessment of my musculoskeletal system and discovered a fairly substantial curvature of my lower spine. I must start by saying I am not a fan of having my body adjusted but when I found myself with a rib painfully out of place after a very bad cold with severe coughing my only option was finding chiropractic help. Dr. Tobey is very welcoming, explains what he's doing, and was patient with my nervousness. I had to go back a week later for the same rib and then a year later when it popped out again. Each time the relief was immediate. Though I'm not a regular, I will return to Dr. Tobey for my chiropractic needs. I trust him.

I highly recommend this office. I have utilized multiple services and used many of the products they sell over the past 9 years and have always been very happy. I love how this office provides care for the mind, body, and soul. They also do a great job regarding scheduling. I can always get in when I need it. Office personnel were always respectful, courteous and helpful. Dr.Tobey is genuinely interested in his patients and in healing their particular problems to make them more pain free. When his treatments were not of a lasting nature for my husband, he immediately recommended that he see a orthopedic doctor. He has helped me in periodic adjustments and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone in need of chiropractic help.

I am an admitted chiropractic skeptic. However, Dr. Tobey has won me over and then some. I used to have to get regular massage to keep from having headaches and now, I get adjusted by Dr. Tobey once a month and am headache free! They are great about working me in when I need to get in and always pleasant and upbeat. I have referred many people to him so it is without hesitation that I recommend Dr. Tobey as the BEST!
