We rented the largest chalet at Creekside, Mt. Columbia. For a group of 9 or 10 this is amazing. Everyone had enough space. All three bedrooms are perfect, with comfy beds. We used the foldout queen beds and had mixed reviews on the comfort of those mattresses. Might be better for one person than two? There are 2 full baths, but the master bedroom has a sink and mirror, with towel rack. It was a nice touch. We always prepare dinners and breakfasts on our ski trips and this is a "cook's kitchen" - rather rare with such rentals. Plenty of dishes, bowls, glasses, and cook and bakeware. We all fit

If I tell you all of the good things about staying at Creekside, then our secret spot won't be a secret anymore. But in times like these, excellent service and downhome hospitality deserve to be celebrated. I bring my whole family here for the privacy, the proximity to everything, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff (if there's any issue, just politely let them know and they'll handle it--they cannot make it snow though!), the amenities (brand new private hot tub = heaven) and the personal touches all around the grounds. Even our sweet old dog is welcome here. If cabins aren't available

It was a nice cabin, clean and warm. Had everything we needed. There are a couple reasons I didn’t give it 5 starts. WiFi did not work one bit. We had two different cabins and the WiFi didn’t work at all. Was unable to do any work up there, which was not planned for. Also, they charge a cleaning fee….. but make you do all the cleaning. We had to sweep, mop. Pull off all the blankets and separate them into specific bags. Had to clean with bleach and sanitize. I don’t have no problem cleaning. But don’t charge me if you’re gonna expect me to clean also. Other then that it was a nice place

We couldn't have imagined a better getaway. The chalet is hidden amongst beautiful golden, red aspens, next to a creek . Everything we needed was inside of the cabin, very clean, welcoming , the owners thought of everything! We especially enjoyed our private hot tub and staring at a night sky with millions of stars. Highly recommend and we cannot wait to come again.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at the Mt Shavano chalet. The accommodations were perfect for our family of 4 and 1 fur baby. The location was perfect being so close to the creek and the hot tub was a just what we needed to relax. It was so quiet and peaceful!! Can't wait to stay again ... next time longer than 1 night.

We have been long-term guests with no complaints from management. But we had to call and request a special accommodation for our unexpected foster dog and we were booking a trip for 2022. They would not make a concession for our foster dog even with a pet deposit and collected a cancellation fee. We have never had a complaint about our well mannered dogs and we always keep everything clean and our dogs are never left alone.
They required the cancellation and therefore why did they collect a cancellation fee and more than a month in advance. We are return guests (stayed multiple times) and stayed

We just spent 3 nights in the Mt. Antero.
The Cabin is very clean and cozy.
The grounds are extremely well kept.
Perfect location for our little get away.
Jillian and Jason should be proud of what they have at Creekside Chalets and
Cabins.

We absolutely loved our stay at the chalets. We stayed 2 nights and were pleased with all the features and amenities of the cabin. The hot tub was so relaxing, everying was extremely clean and well maintained. And they include pets which is a huge bonus for us. We intend to definitely stay again and try it out during the colder season. The perfect getaway!!!

We spent one night here during the pandemic, and were pleased to find that the cabin was very well-aired and clean when we arrived. Disinfecting supplies were left for us to use if we wanted to wipe anything down further, but it felt very safe. Our cabin was very attractively and comfortably furnished. There were only two of us, so we only used the main bedroom. The bed was very comfortable, and my husband liked the pillows so much that he ordered some for himself when we got home. It was very easy to have a dog there, and lovely to sit out on the porch and listen to the stream. The stars were

Creekside Chalet was a perfect summer retreat for my extended family. We rented four separate cabins so we had plenty of personal space but it was great to meet up for meals together. Jason & Jillian were accommodating and helpful. Beautiful setting and close to Salida, hiking trails, and hot springs.

We needed a weekend away and were so happy to have found this place. We loved the creek, the amenities and the hot tub. It was the much needed break we were looking for. We also appreciated the extra steps they took in keeping the place clean from one guest to the next during this Covid19 time. If you need a place to stay and relax this is the place. We will likely come back in the winter to take the kids to Monarch.

Love it here. Amazing Chalets. For a romantic birthday getaway as we are enjoying, my 63rd, or a family retreat...or I've heard weddings are popular here and I can understand why. These Chalets are spacious and extremely clean and well maintained as well as property. I'd give them 10 stars if I could. If you bring your dog they have it all here including bed and dog feeding area and bags. Just to cute. Jillian and Jason are owners and excellent seeing to whatever to make your stay perfect. So much storage in the Chalet and close to Monarch Mountain for skiing and snowmobile rentals. Minutes

Great place to stay for ski vacation at Monarch. The cabins a clean and comfortable with all the amenities that we needed. So nice to be able to bring our own food. The new couches are comfortable and the memory foam bed was a nice touch. Loved having our own hot tub right out the backdoor. The kids really enjoyed being out there while it snowed. Worked out great that we were able to bring our dog. They even have couch covers if your dog is used to being on the couch. Very close to Monarch and Salida with both being about 15 minutes away. Owner was very nice and their dog is a friendly

We have been staying at Creekside Chalet & Cabins for many years in the fall months & this was our first winter stay - it continues to be one of our favorite staycations in Colorado!! The new Owners have made significant improvements both inside the cabins & outside on the property! I highly reccomend them if you are looking for warm, freindly service & an alternative to the hotel/motel experience. They are very dog friendly as well #neverleavethedogbehind! Can't say enough positive things about these unique cabins - perfect place to kick back & relax after a day spent

This is our second stay on one of the one bedrooms this month. We were not overly pleased from our last stay but went ahead with the second since it was a different cabin. We stayed for New Years 2018/2019 and December 19-21 2018.
Here were our issues:
1. the heaters do not work properly. Each room has a floor based heating element. The bedroom one worked well this time but none of the others did. In fact the bathroom heater didn't work at all. I set all the heaters at 86 ( the mac setting) upon arrival. This is because our heaters wouldn't heat over 72 last time. Other than

We really enjoyed our stay at Creekside! Close to Monarch mountain and Salida. Our cabin was clean and relaxing. Beautiful set up. My only suggestion would be that the kitchen was very minimally stocked. There were no hot pads to use when cooking, and no kitchen towels for drying dishes. Those things would have been helpful. We also had problems with the wifi while we were there. Pretty minor things that did not detract from our stay.

What a beautiful place to stay if you are looking to hike in and around the Rocky Mountains near Salida Colorado. Well kept cabins with remote fenced in hot tubs. We rented the Antero chalet. Perfect for Two. Full kitchen, bbq grill, picnic table, solo layback outdoor chairs on a clean pea gravel patio. Gas fireplace and 60" flatscreen in living room with vaulted ceilings and 2 story windows. King bed with tv in bedroom as well as hot tub and deck access. Make shift Murphy bed for a kid or two or 3rd wheel. Full size table and breakfast nook. 5 stars if chalets we're equipped with individual

Just spent 6 nights here. My family, 6 adults and 2 dogs were very comfortable in the 3bdrm cabin, while 2 other couples with us loved their 1 bdrm cabins. Our cabin was right off if 50 so we did have some traffic noise but the others seemed very quiet. The owner was responsive to a need for a new coffeepot and made sure all else was good. We loved our stay at the cabins. They were very clean and lovely inside. The property is really beautiful, in a little patch of trees off of the main road. Our family of five easily fit into the smaller cabin and definitely beat staying in a hotel. My son loved the creek and it was so relaxing to sit next to it and read. We only stayed two nights, but wished we had booked more.
