We recently opened a Sheehan Winery Tasting Room in the historic neighborhood of Old Town in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Walk-ins are welcome, and we would love to see you! Sheehan Winery was founded in 2015 by Sean Sheehan, who learned the craft by serving for more than a decade as lead winemaker at some of New Mexico's finest wineries.
Our wines are made exclusively from New Mexico-grown grapes. Sheehan Winery wines reflect the unique combination of sun, high altitude, dry climate and soil of the New Mexico climate. We invite you to enjoy them!

The staff at the Old Town tasting room for Sheehan Winery are so friendly and helpful. Their wines are consistently good, and tastings, glasses, and bottles are fairly priced. This is a new tasting room, so improvements and changes are being made continually, but the place already has a nice vibe to it. Sean Sheehan is passionate about winemaking, and his efforts are plainly in view here. Become a member and get discounts and perks galore!

My friends and I were visiting Old Town after not being in ABQ for 2-years. A lot had changed and we found the Sheehan Winery tasting room and what an amazing experience it was. We sat outside, enjoyed a tasing flight and Ann provided more education and knowledge about the wines than I can remember. We bought some wine and will be back next time we're in town!

Sadly this wine is tasty but that was over shadowed by a short tempered young woman worker at the Sheehan Winery tent during the NM Wine festival Saturday Sept 4, 2021. We patiently waitied in a line 18 deep in the hot noon sun while others in front of us pontificated with the worker for as long as 10 minutes. When we finally got up to her, our questions were answered with a short yes or no, not the 10 minute dog and pony show we watched while waiting in line and we felt rushed through the tasting. We later returned and paid for two $8 glasses of wine ($16) from the same woman who had rushed us

This review is long overdue, and I'll tell you my story. In early 2018 I was engaged, and my husband and I knew we wanted a fall wine themed wedding. Going to the wine festival we were on a hunt to find a used wine barrel for our 'guest book' so it could be a centerpiece in our home for the rest of our life. Winery after winery, they either would not part with a wine barrel or wanted to charge $400-$500 for a used, empty barrel. We didn't need perfect as we planned on sanding and staining it so it would be ready to sign. This is where we met Sean who immediately was the most humble and kind person
