Having your portrait taken is a unique undertaking, unlike any other in your life. We use our experience and talent to make your portrait one of a kind original. I am an artist at heart, my medium of choice is photography combined with digital painting. I will be sharing my art here as well as my portrait studio specials and promotions for children and families.

Services
John Pratt started the business in October of 1990 after working for three different photography studios. He named the studio using his initials and adding impressions. Why impressions you ask? At the early age of 5 he started doing vocal impressions of Donald Duck. Over the years he has added vocal impressions of Clint Eastwood, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jim Carey and others.
We offer a formal posed portrait background, which is still used to this day, but less popular than it used to be. We do not charge the school to supply the themed photo background, studio strobes or the staff of photographer, poser and cashier. We offer photo packages that start at $17.00 and go up from there.

If you love amazing energy, service, and someone with a "Golden Eye" then go see John Pratt. John took care of my wife and I from the very first phone call. My wife and I drove 3 hours to the area and got cancelled on by another photographer, I explained what happened to John and He explained that his schedule was full. Fortunately, he agreed to squeeze us in his schedule, when he definitely didn't need to. When we got to the studio, he treated us as if he knew us for years, great to talk to, and so easy to take directions from. Not once did I feel like I was a doll or prop from the storage unit

I had a great experience here while taking my senior portraits and received incredible custom service from all the staff here. However my 2 star rating is due to the fact that whoever was in charge of sending my picture to my school for yearbook and this years virtual graduation did not send in my photo and a
number of other students’ photos as well. The whole point of getting the picture taken is to be displayed in the yearbook. On top of an already terrible senior year, this was the icing on the cake.

The staff were really nice and enthusiastic when I went to the studio to take my senior portrait with a friend of mine. I experienced technological issues with saving my senior photos from the gallery viewing on a mobile device and sent a message to the JP impression email address. JP was understanding of my situation and allowed for an extension of the gallery viewing for one week without charge; I really appreciated the fair judgement. My only recommendation for the senior portrait process is for the male photographers to ask females taking their senior portraits whether or not they want to remove

I'm beyond disappointed at this point. I went here to take my senior portraits and had a great experience taking my photos and got great service until fast forward to the end of senior year where this company forgot to send my senior portrait to my school for yearbook purposes. When I went to pick up my yearbook and saw my photo was not there I was devastated. We reached out to the company about this issue and they told us that my photo was PULLED and never sent in to my school. I do not understand why you would pull a students photo??? If I could give 0 stars I would. I ordered my senior portraits almost 3 months ago and I still haven't received them. I ordered wallet photos and a big canvas picture. They told me that their expected time for orders to arrive was 6-8 weeks. However, it's been 11 weeks and every time I call they keep giving the same response of "it should be ready by the end of the week, we'll give you a call".

The first time I went here, I would say it was a very bad experience. My parents didn't come with me because the parking is so bad. I'm terrible in front of a camera and speaking to people so everything was very overwhelming to me. I showed up before my appointment but I had to wait a while. I also ended up paying a ridiculous amount for a deposit even though I said I just wanted a yearbook picture. John (owner) did our corporate offsite and was AMAZING!! His insightful presentation impressed everyone. His engaging presence had people talking after he left. The professionalism was 5-Star and his work really speaks volumes!! We discovered he won the award for "BEST PHOTOGRAPHER IN SILICON VALLEY" by his own peers , not only once but TWICE!! Taking my senior pictures were okay for the most part but its been 3 months and still haven't gotten a call that my senior pictures have arrived. Everytime i call to ask about them i get told that they'll arrive the following week ( happened three times) or i get put on hold for more then 10 minutes and then they hang up the phone like ????

Only went here because my school (Independence) made an appointment for me for my senior portraits (oh no I'm growing up). Take it what you will, $60 I think was what I paid. The staff are very friendly and the process is really quick. Honestly I hope there aren't problems in the future as others are facing as I'm waiting for my final result. For now, I'm here to support the company with a review!

John Pratt is a FRAUD! Parents beware!
My fourth final child graduated 5/2018 meaning my FOURTH trip. When i went to retrieve EXPENSIVE photos i was taken aback on how substandard, flimsy, paper thin, counterfeit, low end pictures are!!. I immediately noticed when i got home, compared it to the pics from previous years, n yup! the pictures "were" thick, sturdy & with grooves/ridges.
I wont even begin on the MANY excuses he had. At first he said he cant tell the difference untill i said lets step outside and ask random people if there is a difference. Pics were picked up

Although the workers at the studio are friendly, they have a few things they need to work on. I wasn't able to take my senior portraits at my school so I called to reschedule. They told me to come to my school, however they meant to tell me to go to their studio so I was late to my appointment. Since I was late they skipped me and made me wait an extra hour and a half. I also ordered my senior pictures over three months ago and still haven't gotten it. My school requested for black gowns for everyone yet a few students got the option to pick between black or white which is unfair. They
