Living independently as a senior or disabled person can be lonely at times. In some cases, this condition can even lead to depression and isolation. That is why AVIDA Home Care provides warm senior companion care to these individuals through our caring and friendly caregivers. During the course of the companion care, the client receives nurturing activities in order to address their social needs.
Taking care of a senior with Alzheimer's or Dementia can become difficult, depending on the severity of the condition. However, our caregivers are highly experienced and trained in giving Alzheimer's and Dementia care. They know how to handle different situations that may happen to a client with this condition.
We have highly trained caregivers who are knowledgeable in giving the right care to clients with incontinence problems. They are capable of providing assistance to our clients and are able to address the problem with professionalism. During their care, they will apply the latest techniques in helping clients with incontinence problems.
One of the services our caregivers can provide is meal preparation. They will prepare meals 3 times a day, according to the needs and preferences of the client. We want our clients to stay healthy, that is why we also encourage our caregivers to prepare a nutritious meal for them. We have meal preparation service to cater your senior's daily nutritional intake.

This care giving service has turned out to be a blessing. My mother is at the end of her life and has a caregiver that I cannot give enough praise to. She loves her job and keeps everyone in the family posted of what's going on. Enia is her name and she is very valuable!!!

Avida Home Care has made it so much easier for me to take care of my aunt. The caregivers on staff were always on time, efficient, knowledgeable, and caring. Raul (the owner) is always available to answer questions and help problem solve. Having the stress relieved, knowing my aunt is getting proper care was such a blessing. They were able to adopt all our normal routines into the day so that the transition of care was seamless. The manager Sandy was amazing and checked in regularly to make sure we were happy with our caregiver, and most importantly, that my aunt was happy. I am so very grateful

His heart was broken when she passed. A great company with trustworthy people and Maricel our caregiver was out of this world amazing. Raul really knows his business and is easy to talk to. They helped take care of my father-in-law during some stressful times. We were always able to get someone on the phone even outside of business hours. Without their services I don't know how we would have managed since my wife and I both work.

Avida Home Care has been very reliable. Raul, the owner is very knowledgeable, kind and trustworthy. He came out the same day I called and had a caregiver with us the very next day. I reached out to Avida to help take care of my Mom. I work full time and she needs help when I am at work. We have had a wonderful experience with Avida care. The owner has be very helpful.They listen to what we want and work with us to make the best decisions. Every woman that has taken care of her is caring. They have played cards, watches tv with mom and having conversations with her to help keep her simulated. Avida Home Care provided us with in-home care givers for my 86 year-old father-in-law. From the first meeting in our home, Raul Mendez was very organized, professional and personable. Raul assessed our needs, met with our family and offered great flexibility to met our needs.
Raul did a great job of communicating before, during and after care givers had been to our home. He was constantly evaluating their performance and ensuring we were happy with the service. The care givers were very kind and sweet to our family and treated my father-in-law with dignity.

My long-time caregiver, who had been with me for 5 years and was privately paid, moved out of the area in May. After 5 years, she was family, and we were all sad that she had to go. I realized that she spoiled me, but I had no idea how much until I had to find a replacement. People failed to show up or call in sick, so I was frequently left hanging. I work full-time, and rely on my caregivers to get me dressed and ready to leave, so I was missing a lot of work and I was really stressed out by having to search for a new caregiver every few days.
