We are dedicated to bringing out the best in each student by giving them a solid foundation in both technique and artistry. Our Pre-Ballet classes are divided into three distinct levels (Tiny Tots, Creative Dance, and Primary Ballet) in order to provide age-appropriate training for your tiny dancer.
Ballet Levels 1-4 build a solid foundation for dancers to develop their coordination, technique, and artistry. Dancers in Ballet Levels 5 - 7 will work on refining their ballet technique. Focus will be on fine details, artistry of movement, pointe work, and increasing their advanced repertory of steps.

Services
The Coomer Ballet Conservatory provides superior classical ballet training along with other styles of dance in a fun and inspiring environment. Our faculty consists of current and former professional dancers along with other highly-qualified instructors who specialized in their field of dance. We are fully devoted to providing dancers of all ages with the opportunity to grow and excel in their dance education.
Dress code is an important part of every dancer's training. CBC's dress code is designed to encourage unity and discipline among our dancers. In addition, it keeps the class focused and improves the instructor's ability to assess and correct placement. No Jewelry (except small stud earrings). Dangling earrings and hoops are strictly forbidden due to safety reasons.
If you are unsure what level to enroll in or would like to schedule an evaluation/trial class email us at info@coomerballet.com. Dress Code: Do not purchase your specific leotard colors unless you are certain they are enrolled in the correct class. Some students may need their levels adjusted after their first few classes.
Designed with both our dancers and parents in mind, our beautiful Conservatory is over 6,000 square feet. We have over 3,500 square feet for 3 spacious dance studios. Each studio has natural light, professional-grade Marley dance flooring, sprung sub-flooring to absorb shock, enhance performance, and greatly reduce injuries.
Our Competition Team is comprised of dancers that have a true devotion to dance and aspire to take their abilities to the next level. These dancers will become extremely versatile, well-rounded dancers and performers. Our team will require a higher level of discipline, a greater demand on training time, and a promise of commitment from both dancers and parents to uphold the rules and requirements of the team.

With respect to Jenny J.'s opinion, our experience at Coomer Ballet Conservatory was different than hers. They might do best with beginner and intermediate students. My daughter was looking for advanced training to help her prepare for college dance program auditions. After it being recommended by friends, we moved her to A.B.A.D. where she found the training & mentoring she was seeking. https://communityimpact.com/houston/pearland-friendswood/business/2020/12/14/amy-blakes-academy-of-dance-mentors-trains-dancers-for-life-ahead/

My daughter has been dancing in Coomer Ballet since Summer 2019 and I could not be happier with the quality training she's received and the progress she's made.
The previous comment made by Robbie L is very misleading. 2 of the owners without dance background do not get involved in day-to-day training. They simply provide financial backup.
Michelle Coomer is a former Houston Ballet demi-soloist. She danced for HB for 9 years - not simply "few years". Since then, she had taught all over Houston including at Divine Dance Academy for 5 years - an establishment that the author

Our daughters have been dancing with Coomer Ballet Conservatory for over a year. We had previously tried several other local studios (4!) prior to that, and were very disappointed in the quality of classical ballet instruction. We did a trial class at Coomer ballet and immediately knew it was what we were looking for. While my daughters main interest is classical ballet and pointe, they also offer superior training in jazz, contemporary, tap, drill team, and acro for dancers. My daughters take all of the classes offered for their age group and have progressed more in the last year than in many

Coomer Ballet Conservatory is everything you could imagine for dance instruction. The teachers are professional, passionate and genuinely care about their students. There are classes for the tiniest of tots to adults. They also have classes for registered participants and drop-in classes for those dancers would like extra studio time or dancers who would like to hone their skills. Management encourages feedback and communication is consistent. Coomer Ballet is truly remarkable! We are happy to be a part of it and excited for the upcoming dance season.

We love Coomer Ballet! The owners are so sweet, willing to answer any questions, quick to respond to emails & phone calls. The teachers are great - are very knowledgeable in what they’re doing, professional, have sweet interactions with the children. My daughter just finished her first semester of ballet in the Tiny Tots class. From beginning to end of semester, you could tell ballet has helped her become better at listening and following directions, along with better balance and coordination. We look forward to many more classes at Coomer Ballet, fostering a love of dance and music but also

This is our first time in ballet and we are very happy that we enrolled at Coomer Ballet Conservatory. The instructors are very talented, friendly and professional. Michelle Coomer and her team always make sure that our questions are answered and they are professional in dealing with the kids. The studio is nice and clean. The program is well organized. We just had our first recital and it was amazing, the production and stage were perfect and the dancers all did great. My daughter was amazing on stage and we are so proud. Highly recommended! Thank you Coomer Ballet!

Our daughter started in the Tiny Tots class when Coomer Ballet opened in January 2019. I am in awe at the progress she made in just a few short months from me having to be in the room with her the entire class to her performing her entire dance routine on stage in front of a large audience. She has gained so much confidence, social skills, balance and coordination. I’ve also met some super sweet moms who I can’t wait to plan play dates with. Michelle and Christopher Coomer and the entire team are the sweetest and extremely professional. We can’t wait for our summer and fall classes!
