Below is a list of our frequently asked questions with answers. The laws vary depending on your vehicle type. Most sedans and wagons are classified as passenger vehicles and all the windows excluding the front windshield and sunroof must not be darker than 35% VLT with a 6% leeway.

I just got my 2021 Honda Civic hatchback tinted and it came out really nice.
At first there were a few lint bubbles that I could easily spot and see, so I called and asked if they could redo it because I had warranty. Keala was nice enough to redo it and he also let me know that no matter what there will be lint bubbles. (personally I think if you're paying a lot of money to get your tinting done, they should try their hardest to avoid any lint bubble because the tint will be on for a long time. Austin , did an awesome job of giving me a fair quote on my 2005 Xterra. Brought my car into his shop , gave me terrific customer service . LOCATED in the Campbell Industrial Park area, Lawiliwili is the first left after the COSTCO intersection. When you get to the area, Bldg 3 should be the first one you see. Bldg 7 is in the back. The building numbers won't seem logical... if you drive straight towards back you should be facing Bldg 6 and Ohana Tinting is across.
Hubster made an appointment for 10 am. I was the first one there. All we needed was 2 front windows 35% tint so we can pass safety check. It took about 45 mins tops.
The waiting area was very accommodating and unexpected.

So my aftermarket & factory tint both got scratched off just my front seat windows. After using elbow grease to remove the driving hazard on the driver's side window I just didn't have the time or energy to do the passenger side. So I did a bunch of bidding around to find a good deal on this project.

I have had two of my cars tinted at Ohana Tinting with zero disappointment. The installers do an amazing job and they are extremely easy to communicate with. My tint performs extremely well on both cars and definitely is a huge help in Hawai'i. Definitely a must for a glass car roof and black leather seats! Their warranty makes things stress-free if anything comes up later. 10/10 would recommend!!

First of all, I called on a Monday, and was able to get their very last appointment on the next Sunday evening. That worked great for me! The day of my appointment, they called about an hour and a half before my scheduled time, to see if I wanted to come in earlier! I love that!

I found this hidden gem on Yelp. All the reviews were great so I decided to give them a try. I use to take my vehicles to TNT tint but I wanted to try another local company. Ohana tinting did not disappoint. They were friendly, reasonable prices and quick. The best part is not one bubble

Ohana tinting is doing such a good job on my Ohana's vehicles i came back to have Keala and team to install air 90 tint film on my front windshield. I wanted the best protection i could get from the uv rays and other sun damage. So air 90 tint film it is. With last weeks install of the ceramic tint on the other windows and the air 90 a week later i should be good to go. Mahalo Keala and crew!

Just got tinted a few days ago. It was quick and clean with all 3 guys working on one suv. Chose the ceramic tint and the results are pretty good. Cooler inside than before installation. I highly recommend coming here. I'll be back to tint my other car next time.

I’m happy with my tint and will continue to use this company and refer my friends and clients here but there are some areas I think need improvement. My 5 star score reflects the quality of tint, the install and the price point. I will not dock them points for the little nit picky things that I’m about to mention below.
1.) left my stereo on full blast after the install.
2.) got water on my brand new gauge cluster, dash and stereo. I had a brand new vehicle and now i have water spots on my gauge cluster. Pretty annoying but not the end of the world.

After several referrals, I had high hopes of the service and quality of tint. Upon pickup, I found my car to not be finished yet in their bay and all the workers laying down on their phones in the lobby. One of the workers had to heat my windshield to finish the squeegee job and their tools were left in my car along with A LOT of dirt, excess film, and I found another tool in my car the next morning. Ohana Tinting, you can do better and i hope this is not what the other vehicles look like...

They were quick, very professional and very reasonable. I had gotten a gift card for some tinting for Christmas, but since the gift card was given from another state there was a time difference that wasn't accounted for. So I walked in (4 hours late) and they handled it very well. We laughed about it then took my truck back and finished in 30 minutes with no issues at all. Definitely recommended if you are looking for a tint.

Amazing, fast service! I called the morning of and was able to get in at 2PM for tint removal and reapply on front SUV windows. It took less than 30 minutes and looks great. All their tint is lifetime warrantied as well. Will recommend to everyone and probably get the rest of my car redone in the future!
