Mount Vernon Yacht Club (MVYC) is a neighborhood-based social club located near George Washington's Mount Vernon Estate just south of Washington, DC. Some people think a "yacht club" is only for boaters, but MVYC has something for everyone, every month of the year!

Please review and be familiar with the MVYC Clubhouse Rental Agreement before making your formal request. You can find the details of the agreement here. You must submit a check made out to "Mount Vernon Yacht Club" for $250 (for 49 or fewer attendees ); $500 (50 to 74 attendees); or $750 (75 to 150 attendees) to MVYC (c/o House Rental).
Thank you for inquiring about membership in the Mount Vernon Yacht Club. We are a volunteer focused club which offers a wide range of boating, swimming and social activities to enjoy year round. An active membership in good standing is entitled to full use and enjoyment of all the Club facilities including the clubhouse, marina and pool.
The MVYC Dolphins Swim Team is a fun activity for the entire family. Our season runs from Memorial Day through the end of July. Our objective is for each child to have fun while learning to improve his or her swimming skills. Emphasis is also placed on team sportsmanship. Each swimmer should work equally hard for him/herself and the team.
MVYC members can now pay annual dues & fees using PayPal (Master Card, Visa, AMEX or linked checking account). Be advised you must add 5 percent to your bill to cover Pay Pal charges. If you do not wish to pay the 5 percent charge, you can simply mail your annual dues check to MVYC. IMPORTANT: if you use PayPal and do not add the 5 percent PayPal charge, you will be held in arrears per MVYC BYLAWS and Rules.
