I've been practicing for 19 years, 16 of which were spent serving as a La Porte County Deputy Prosecutor focused on the Child Support Division.

In addition to my private practice, I am currently a Deputy Prosecutor focused on the Juvenile Division. My practice areas and years of experience enable me to be a dedicated and effective advocate - in family law matters especially. I was raised in La Porte County and have strong ties to the community.

Cory shoots from the hip and doesn't take any BS. She will fight for her clients with everything by she has, and while she is extremely busy, even thru covid-19, she will still give you her full attention in your meetings and court appointments.

Hired her for a custody dispute. She stopped calling, stopped returning emails, stopped contact altogether and there's been absolutely no resolution. When she was in contact, she'd ask if I was available for appointments but then never set anything up. Most of the communication from her was to tell me that we were waiting for opposing counsel to respond and then...nothing. Nice lady, seems interested to take on your case but just someone else looking to take your money.

I hired Cory to handle my divorce. When I first met her she made me feel so at ease. The most down to earth attorney I've met but knows how to get the job done. We ran into some hiccups along the way, which was no fault of ours and she stayed on top of it. I'm confident going into court with her by my side.

Cory was my lawyer for almost a yr, I gave her a 3 because she finalized my divorce out of 4 lawyers, I think she has a lot on her plate and she doesn't have good listening skills I feel like she is too busy. But she did do the job and I have sent people to her.

Reading all the positive reviews on Cory just amazed me. My experience with her was just the opposite...found her to NOT follow through on what she said,cost me time as well as personal expenses and just someone glad don't have to deal with on a daily basis
