We are a third generation family business that has been serving customers of the Metropolitan area since 1934. We live and work in this community and support other small local businesses. Although our children are in school, they have all worked part-time with us, making them the fourth generation to join the company.

Extremely poor service. We bought custom hunter douglas blinds. The delivery was delayed by over a month and there were no communication from them regarding our order status. There were no response to our calls. And It was so frustrating to see that they had already charged the remaining balance after initial deposit which needs to be paid at delivery, even before the actual delivery. I would never make a purchase from this place again.

The service provided by Metropolitan Window was horrendous. We had our windows measured and signed a contract on April 1. It took approximately 8 weeks to have the drapes made. That was a reasonable timetable. But, the problems started there.
They came to install them the third week in June. They could only do one window because there was a part missing for the rod for the second window. More importantly, they had measured wrong. The drapes ended about 1/2 way down the window when we had clearly communicated that we wanted them to the window sill, so, the drapes had to be remade, besides getting

Had a terrific experience working with Denise. Needed sheer shades and top treatment in
my bedroom and she came to my apartment to measure, showed me products and made suggestions.
