As a first-time mother, it was so important to me to find someone who could capture these precious moments of my daughter's life. I knew I wanted timeless and classic photos that my family would cherish for generations to come. I never thought someone would be able to capture both my children's personality in such a natural way, but I was wrong.
If you are not familiar with the panel concept, it is a seamless photograph featuring your baby at 3 months, 6 months, 9 months and 12 months. This captures all the different developmental stages of your baby during their first year. You can also see how much they change and grow in that year. Many people tell us it is one of the most treasured pieces in their home.
Our backyard, which was once a part of the Glendale Park & Zoo in Nashville at the turn of the century, is home to 150 year old elm and oak trees. This provides us with great shade for photographing children during the heat of the summer. The park lives on in our backyard. We have ponds with waterfalls, a dock, swings, concrete and iron benches, stone walls and iron gated archways, and many hydrangea bushes and flower beds just to name a few.
While in college, I discovered my love for photography. After graduating from Lipscomb University with a degree in art and a minor in marketing, I worked for ten years as a graphic designer and art director for an advertising agency on Music Row. After my first daughter was born in 1991, the passion for creating photographs became even stronger.
