Services
Jeff and Charise Davis founded Chili Pepper's Tanning in 2002. They were high school sweethearts and have been together since they were 15 & 17 years old. Shortly after starting their family, they purchased their first tanning salon across from the subdivision where they lived. Together, they worked this store from open to close taking turns between watching the kids and working at the salon.
Levels 1 & 2 are beginning levels that are going to emit the most UVB rays that take the longest to see your color develop. These rays do not go as skin deep, so they also do not last as long on the skin. Level 1 is typically a 20-minute bed that offers the MOST UVB and very little UVA. Level 2 typically offers a bed or stand up option and gives you a bit less UVB and more UVA rays so you are able to see your color more quickly.
Tanning occurs when the skin produces pigment to protect itself from UV rays and permanent skin damage. In airbrush tanning, the tanning solution is applied by a technician using a compressor and airbrush. These tanning solutions contain the active ingredient DHA that reacts with the outer layer of skin to produce a bronzing effect, similar to what a traditional tan does.
VersaSpa Pro Spray Tan System provides a premium spray tanning experience with 3 spray nozzles for even full-body coverage. The open booth provides a warm environment that is comfortably heated and easy and relaxing experience, resulting in a beautiful tan. EAll tanning solutions are infused with marine algae to detoxify, firm, and rejuvenate the skin.
The question we get asked most often is: Why tan? People who are exposed to longer hours of bright light feel happier and are able to enjoy life. Potential health benefits include but are not limited to: production of Vitamin D, decreased risks of breast and colon cancer, and reduced risk of sunburn.

I have gone to this location several times. It is always clean and everyone is polite! Kate and Sarah are so helpful and took the time to talk to me about all the different kinds of lotions and find one I really loved. They also have lotion of the day for 50% off which is a great deal. Love this place!

I would like to say this place has gone down hill. I’ve paid $175 for 1 month unlimited tanning. No problem. First visit you have people working there that can’t even tell you how the fans work on the tanning bed their responses they’re broken after a couple more visits I realized I figured out how to work the fan in fact they’re not broken OK recent visit the door is broke so I have to now adjust a table to keep the door shut because no one‘s there to fix anything hey come out of my tanning bed there’s a customer sitting in the lobby without a mask yet there’s a sign on the door

Called to cancel my membership (like I have the right to whenever the f**** I so please) and the girl told me I had to come in to do it because the needed a signature, which was understanding so I explained to her that I was canceling due to me being pregnant. She then had the nerve to tell me I had to bring in proof that I'm pregnant. Not only did I have to leave my home PREGNANT during a PANDEMIC but you need proof?! Did you want my test with piss on it?!? Never ever going here again, I'd rather open up my own tanning salon before I ever step foot in one of their disgusting locations

I've used this place for years in the past, usually before vacations. I have not been here in a few years but, the current staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I brought my daughter here for spray tanning and she felt very comfortable and welcomed by the staff. I am very satisfied with the cleanliness and quality of of the machines. You can tell they are kept up on. Also, your prices seem fair compared to other tanning salons. People don't understand that your get what you pay for and lotions purchased on Amazon or online could already be expired or left in warehouses without being temperature

My boyfriend and I stopped in here today to purchase tanning lotion. He purchased the Star Crossed lotion for me which was $79.50. MISTAKE.... We should have checked amazon because it sells for only $47.99.... I will be calling and finding out if I can return it as it has not been used yet and ordering from amazon!! This is price gouging and I will NEVER buy lotion here again!! That's almost DOUBLE what it sells for.... I called the store and of course she tries to tell me it's not the same lotion, that's always their reasoning, I asked when the manager would be in so I could call back, and OF

This place sucks. They are Chili Peppers now but it was body bronze, same exact beds. Nothing changed. They have a level 4 bed... Expensive and it doesn't really get me tan. Plus there is only one of the level 4, so there is a 30 mins wait. The chili peppers at mound and hall next to LA Fitness is way better for a tan and better service. They honor their promotions unlike here.

After all these years of my post being up someone finally wants to fix their horrible service AFTER this specific location was found to have HIDDEN CAMERAS everywhere! It wouldn't surprise me

This location is my FAVORITE! It’s always CLEAN and the AMAZING STAFF! Other comments I see about lotions well u find smtng cheaper for a reason🤔 I’ve gotten lotions for cheaper and compared them to the store bottles and there IS a difference. It’s my 20min of pretending I’m on the beach.

Body Bronze tanning is conveniently located by my house, so that is why I ended up choosing it, without much comparison around town. So maybe it's my fault. I bought a platinum package, 134.00 dollars later, for one month plus lotion, I go tanning. They have ONE bed, that can be used for the platinum package, so needless to say, you could have to wait awhile. If I'm spending that kind of money on a package, I would like to have a couple options. Also, no stand up bed that is included in the package, they have one at their other location but, that one is not located as close to my house
