The Foundation Board of the HBA of Durham, Orange and Chatham Counties is a 501c(3) charitable organization. Having the Foundation allows the HBA to support our local community through charitable giving. We support the following organizations through financial giving and volunteerism: Habitat for Humanity; The Ronald McDonald House; and our Scholarship Program for local high school graduates.
The High Performance Building Council of the Triangle (formerly the Green Home Builders of the Triangle) is a joint program of the HBA of Durham, Orange and Chatham Counties and the HBA of Raleigh-Wake County.
Our green building program was launched in 2006 with the primary purpose of promoting building techniques and materials that produce homes which consume less energy and other resources, facilitate better indoor air quality, and provide a more durable product requiring less maintenance.

The Professional Women in Building Council (PWB) is the voice of women in the building industry - dedicated to promoting industry professionalism and supporting members at the local, state and national levels. The Professional Women in Building of the Triangle is a joint council with the HBA of Raleigh-Wake County.
