Cross Timbers Winery is located in the Historic Brock Family farm house. The house was started in 1874 by Dr. Dorris who arrived on the Grapevine Prairie from Starkville, Mississippi. It has been recognized as being one of the 5 oldest structures in Grapevine, and has been renovated to capture the original design and spirit of its original builders.
Grapevine history books recorded many of the contributions made to Grapevine by the Dorris and Brock families. One of the things that intrigued its current owner was the many references family members made towards the "fun" they had in the old barn. So, after a rather extensive research project, the City of Grapevine allowed the "ol" barn to be reconstructed provided size, location and style could be insured.

Located inside a Historic Home, our tasting room is open to guests looking to enjoy local wines in a comfortable and nostalgic setting. We proudly serve a variety of reds, whites, single varietals, and blends. Cross Timbers Winery offers wine tastings, wine by the glass, wine by the bottle, and even wine by the case!

This was our first time here at this winery venue and we enjoyed it very much. There is a lot of outdoor space some of it is covered some of it is under trees and some of it is uncovered. They have a nice selection of their own wines plus some from Northern Mexico. They also have a large red barn which is an event center for weddings, etc. It's a very relaxed environment and the employees were very nice and helpful it will certainly become one of our favorite locations.

My friend and I were visiting Grapevine and made it a point to stop at Cross Timbers Winery based on its reputation. We were so glad we did!
The fun started when we arrived: we were standing on the porch, admiring the lovely old farmhouse, when a charming young man popped his head out the front door and cheerfully asked, "Are you ladies looking for a wine tasting?" We could not have chosen a more perfect place to have our wedding. The venue was set up beautifully and Chris made the entire process so painless. He was always willing to take our calls or show us around the venue. His experience absolutely helped us elevate many aspects of our wedding and we are extremely grateful for all that he did. Cross Timbers will always have a special place in our hearts.

Beautiful winery. The area, although busy, is quiet and relaxing. The prices for sampling are reasonable and manageable for a larger group. Definitely a family friendly place, although there wasn't anywhere to change our infant. We saw people with dogs and young children playing in the yard which means that we will definitely be back. Although indoor seating is limited, there is lots of outdoor seating which is perfect for a warm day.

My wife and I got married at this winery in Grapevine. The staff and owners where very helpful and did a great job. The venue is beautiful and they have a great option to move the ceremony inside if the weather changes. This is a smaller venue, I would say no more than 120 guests, but I think that was what made it even better.
