One of the main duties I have at my job is to procure construction materials and deal with vendors and this was worse than most experiences Ive had. Now, this project was for personal use, not for business, but none the less, I typically have a pleasant experience with supply houses.
At first the seemed helpful, but then went radio silent after multiple attempts where I stated I was ready to purchase (thank god I did, I found the exact same product elsewhere for noticeably cheaper). I have no idea what their thought process was, but there is nothing ruder to me then someone, or a group of someones

Worst customer service ever! We could hardly get in touch with their sales guy Mike Schwent, he never calls back and responds. Called another day, receptionist picked up the phone. We asked to talk to Mike, if he is unavailable to talk to another sale person and she responded that he is busy helping their old customers and when he will have time (maybe never) he will call us back. So basically don't waste your time, they are not interested in new customers. Look for another lumber yard that wants your business!

After going to HD, Menards, Lowels, and 3 lumber yards I finally found exactly what I was looking for at Hillside Lumber. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and great to deal with (even the little dog kindly greeted me). I highly recommend this place and will resort to them first for future projects that I plan on keeping the original appearance of.
