Services
The North County Quilters Association (NCQA) was formed by a group of passionate quilters in the mid 1980's and has grown to a membership of 60. The guild exists not only to share the art of quilting with anyone interested in the craft, but to also give something back to the community.
Our monthly meeting generally consists of a presentation by a local or national quilting expert sharing new techniques or design ideas, or a speaker on a topic of special interest, and opportunities for participation in drawings for the monthly fat quarter basket, block of the month, mini quilts, and door prizes. The white elephant table with many donated fabrics, patterns and notions for purchase is very popular.

You will discover that we are a congenial group of quilters (both women and men) who love quilting and sharing our knowledge and skills. Our ages span from 20-something to 80-plus and our experience and skills range from beginner to expert and teacher. We welcome new members, and you need not be referred or sponsored by a current member.
Our monthly meetings often include special guest speakers from the quilting community or other areas of special interest. Visit our Meetings schedule to see more about upcoming speakers! In addition to donating the proceeds of ticket sales for our annual Opportunity Quilt to selected charities, we also donate to a variety of organizations through our craft.
A "Good Cheer" quilt is a fun and quick quilting project our members complete at their leisure at home. These brlght, cheerful quilts are donated to the Interfaith Community Services organization in Escondido, CA, who distributes them locally to children and others in need. Twenty women shared their fabrics to create this delightfully warm quilt for our 2020 Opportunity Quilt!
Tickets can be purchased at each monthly meeting to enter a drawing for a special "mini-quilt". Buy a ticket for a chance to win! Buy a Block of the Month kit at the monthly guild meeting and return the completed block the next meeting for a chance to win all blocks entered in the drawing! Each member and guest in attendance at our monthly meeting receives a ticket for a chance to win a door prize!
