They sold me a chlorinator a few years ago and now they do not sell the tablets for it. Asked the person who answered the phone why they don't sell them anymore, the answer was not a good one. Not remotely helpful. Asked them if they had granular chlorine and how much, they were too lazy to provide a price. I'm sure if I wanted an expensive yard set, he would have jumped right on it. Lost respect for this place. Always liked this store before, when they wanted to help. I guess they just care about the amount of the purchase.

Let's tell it like it is.. My wife and I were put on a pedestal when we lay down tens-of-thousands of dollars for an inground pool and fireplace. We were delighted! Turn the page, we now regret our choice. Turns out, one of the owners & a salesman who lacks the ability to maintain a professional relationship to retain its customer base. He is curt, mono-toned and arrogant!
*The Other owner and brother managing the service department, in my opinion_can walk on water. (No pun intended) _He is the best in the business! Smart, informative and personable. Good luck to you sir!

My husband and I decided that it was time to transform our backyard and wanted to start with an inground pool. We shopped at several different pool stores and ultimately decided that there was no better fit for us than Add On Pools. From the moment we sat down we were given honest answers to all of our questions and accurate timeline of how long installation should take.
Steve and Freddy were an absolute pleasure to work with. Freddy and his crew do the actual installation and I cannot rave eventhough about how professional and educated they are about the work they do. Our job site was left clean

Total RIP off. You bring your pool water sample, They test it and you need over $200 in chemicals. I trusted them for 25 years. ( I felt totally used.) How I know. I got 15 gallons of liquid shock, put it in the pool , went back with a water the next day. They told me I had NO chlorine in my pool. The water testing is a SCAM to make you buy chemicals. ALL YOU NEED IS GRANULAR SHOCK. $15. I usually don't put a review. Try Pool Shack in Hazlet. Great opening and closing. Honest about chemicals. No pool problems in 4 years. AVOID ADD ON POOLS if you want a fair deal.

Avoid at all costs! They are unprofessional and unknowledgeable; we've spent thousands and after a year's time, our pool is still not functioning. We're on our third pump motor; they once claimed the problem was electrical but a licensed electrician came out and said it was fine. Every time I've called them to investigate an air leak on the intake side, they leave and say, "the water level is too low," even though it isn't and water is flowing fine into the skimmer. The one time I managed to schedule an appointment for a Saturday so I could be present, they never showed and claimed we were scheduled

I had an item installed inside my home. I found Bill Jr. very rude and unpleasant to speak with. In addition to him being rude, I had to call numberous times to find out when this item would be installed in my home. I should have gone elsewhere. However, the other gentleman that works there was very nice.

Compromised thousands of dollars of business with me cause they wouldn't accept a return on a cheap week-old part. What company has a no return policy? Really never heard of one till this weekend.
On top of that they were rude and looked completely bewildered at the thought of anyone even coming in to make a return. Not smart business.
