I live in a historic pre-war building on the Upper West Side and went through a major renovation. First and foremost, the Hearth fireplace is super dope. It’s even better than we imagined — we love it. In fact, we just ordered a second one. But there is one issue.
Here’s our background. We live in a 120 year old Brooklyn row house that had multiple fireplaces that were closed up. And we always dreamed of having a working fireplace, a luxury in NYC.
We considered renovating our living room fireplace with gas but that wasn’t a possibility, for practical reasons and cost. Our contractor recommended we look at Hearth as an alternative and he was spot on.

We recently bought and had a Hearth Cabinet installed and love it. Its such an ideal fix when you cant have ventilation or run a gas line. Really high quality ventless fireplaces. These are super simple to install and they provide really nice heat. Super happy with the HearthCabinet we have in our community room in my apartment complex - they were able to get a large, custom unit that looks great and didn't have to vent which made it possible to install on our ground level without affecting the apartment above it.
