Originally from Canada, Alexa has been in CO since 2000 where her two children grew up in Evergreen, alongside golden retrievers and orange kittens. Alexa Interiors offers full residential interior design services, as well as project management - all tailored to meet the individual needs of each client and perfectly enhance each space. We focus on timeless and elegant finishes, furnishings and decor as well as interior detailing, renovations and new construction.
From selecting paint colors & tiles to space planning & room layouts, we work in partnership with our clients. We design everything from kitchens & bathrooms to furnishings & accessories for any room in your home. We also coordinate renovation projects, collaborate with architects & contractors where necessary, & oversee furniture & material orders on your behalf (psst - have you been to Mountain Home yet?)

From selecting paint colors and tiles, to space planning and room layouts, we work in partnership with our clients.
This 1980's Ridge home was long overdue for a refresh and facelift! The chopped-up rooms and low ceilings made everything feel dark and heavy, even though there was tons of natural light to be had by taking out walls and making window openings larger. In Phase 1, we remodeled and updated the basement to create a small kitchen & living area, as well as a good-sized guest room, bathroom and laundry room.
This 7500 sq ft home was in great shape, but needed some cosmetic updates and a bit of a re-working of the extra-large lower level. All of the interior trim and doors were upgraded to a charcoal grey for a fresher feel. All walls and ceilings were painted, smaller fireplaces were replaced, a new butcher block was installed in the kitchen, and the entire exterior was re-stained.

Alexa helped me with my window decisions after the hail storm came through Golden in 2017. I needed to replace all windows and doors in the back of my home, including a 2-story picture window. She helped me make design decisions around the trim color, sash color, wall color, and actual design of the windows (one big window or three windows?, etc). She recommended I add a window in my living room for more natural light- which has EASILY been the best addition to our entire home. She was professional, quick & concise, and came prepared. I have recommended Alexa to many friends since!

Alexa, Kim and team did an outstanding job helping us turn a contemporary home into our dream mountain home. They spent a lot of time with me going over options and ideas. The process was so easy because they are so good at what they do. They listened to what the vision was and enhanced it at every turn. We redid the flooring, trim, interior paint, doors, hardware, bathroom, stone masonry, patios, exterior lighting, entry doors, fireplaces, staircase, railings, landscaping, stone walks, exterior paint, etc. They also professionally decorated the interior for me. We absolutely love our new home
