As most wedding professionals recommend, 6 months prior to your wedding date is IDEAL for ordering your gown. We agree, though Dolly Couture Bridal dresses typically ship in just 8 to 12 weeks.
Dolly Couture Bridal understand it's not easy to order "the dress" for you big day without seeing something in person. We are in the process of offering the line in various bridal salons across the US starting in 2021. PLEASE NOTE: Not all styles are available in every size & availability might be 1 to 3 weeks from your request date.

Thank you so much Merrie for doing all you could to make sure I had my dress on time with only two months… to plan. She helped me measure from home and once received, the dress fit perfect. I learned about Dolly Couture of all places at Disneyland's Dapper Day Expo and wow nothing felt more like fate than running into them! I knew I wanted a tea length style dress for my wedding but I knew next to nothing about dresses in general and felt VERY overwhelmed by the whole process! I had a hard time finding a tea length dress on the east coast, so I'm SO GLAD I got to visit the DCB showroom. It was a dream -- the first time in which I tried on multiple dresses that I loved and in which felt like myself! The DCB dresses were beautiful and sweet, with a lovely 1950s flair.
Merrie was a dream to work with after I ordered the dress, assuaging my anxieties and even helping avert a potential sizing crisis. The dress came exactly when she said it would and it was fantastic!

Buying my wedding dress from Dolly Couture was my favorite wedding prep experience. Merrie is the best! I was planning a very last-minute backyard wedding and was looking for a tea-length dress. Merrie had so many dresses that I liked, and she showed me display models that I would be able to have ready at short notice. They are currently in transition into a new place, they're in a industrial park not a typical storefront but don't let that fool you. They are professionals and experts in making the bride happy and beautiful.
They are so nice. They emailed directions to find the store and what to bring to the appointment. They are by appointment only and it's worth a visit. They schedule a block of time about 90 min and it's just that one bride ( and her entourage). It's so special, makes you feel like the VIP you deserve to be treated as.
My suggestion is to try on as many dresses

I am grateful beyond measure to see my sister as happy as she was the day she found her dress here! She looked and felt beautiful in each and every one of the dresses picked out for her, and anyone who has gone dress shopping before knows that is a testament to a stylist who truly knows what she's doing. She embraced us from the moment we stepped in to the moment we left, asked and answered all the right questions, and gave my sister a day we'll never forget. I purchased a Melrose Dress from Dolly for my wedding (4/9/16).My wedding coordinator suggested Dolly after having seen my Pinterest board and noticed the tea length dresses I liked. I had tried on about 5 or 6 Dolly Dresses and the Melrose dress was the 4th one I tried on. The dress was perfect! I loved the detail, it needed minimal alterations, and it was so comfortable! The birdcage veil was so pretty. I opted to have the bow be placed on the back of the dress rather than in the front. I chose a champagne color for my dress. Thank you Dolly!!

I spent a good amount of time researching tea length wedding gowns prior to shopping. Unfortunately, tea length dresses are surprisingly not as commonplace in the US as they are in other places like the UK. I stumbled upon Dolly Couture by accident. I live in Goleta, and the storefront (was) located in Tarzana. After a brief correspondence over email with Merrie (of Your Big Day Bridal) to set up an appointment, I learned that Dolly's storefront had just closed and that my appointment would be in her (Dolly's) home. OH MY GOD!!! I cannot gush enough about the experience I had with Dolly. I went to a number of salons and this was above and beyond the best experience ever. It was so personal and unique. I tried on what felt like 8BILLION dresses and we had such a great time. Dolly let us bring in champagne and snacks and stay as long as we wanted. I had a huge group of women with me and Dolly was so welcoming and kind. I knew I would be a Dolly Bride almost immediately. And when I found my dress it was perfect. IT HAD POCKETS!!! She even busted out a mini heater when it got a little chilly in the room!

Was helped out by two girls. They were very helpful and were nice around my family.
Most places I had been to for bridemaids dresses were rude and unhelpful. But this place was extremely nice to us and I really appreciated that.
Bought my dress in October 2014 for May 2015 wedding.
I received it in the mail in January.
I believe the dresses are all made to order so you can get exactly your size to your fit.

If you are a bride of ANY size or age, RUN don't walk to see Merrie. She is AMAZING!! She has a keen eye, listens and picks up your cues about dresses you are trying on. Then finds the perfect dress for you! She never pushes more expensive dresses (or her taste) and tries hard to work in your budget. Her dresses are very reasonably priced as well.

I can't praise Merrie enough! She was my first stop ever trying on dresses and she made me feel so comfortable, beautiful and helped me truly find the style I ultimately fell in love with. I did not get my dress here, only because I found "the one", another designer, elsewhere but I was not disappointed with any part of my experience at Your Bid Day.
