As an Instructor of Photography at the Academy of Art University for the past 13 years, I have gathered a lot of know-how on the most important photography tips and trick and deliver them in easy to understand bite sizes. No question is too small or great.

Amy was wonderful to work with. She made the fact that I loathe taking pictures much more pleasurable. She was prompt with her responses and answered any question that I had and her professionalism prior to my wedding, relaxed any concerns I had. Her fees were flexible and she allowed wiggle room for any adjustments I might make leading up to my special day. I was impressed with her willingness to work with other photographers and my videographer. It was as if they had worked together prior.

Amy captured the most candid beautiful moments of our wedding. She gave us great direction and had a positive attitude the entire time. Our schedule was running behind and she agreed to stay an extra half hour to capture the cake cutting which we really appreciated. Not to mention I was a classic Covid bride and had to reschedule with her THREE times, but I received nothing but positive words and support from her. She is a joy to work with, highly recommend.

From our engagement photos to our wedding photos, Amy was a joy to work with. She strikes the perfect balance of spontaneity and structure, knowing when to let special moments run their course and when to provide direction. On our wedding day, she was laughing alongside us and running down to the beach with us to catch the perfect light and sunset. Before we had our first meeting with Amy, we were a bit nervous because you want those perfect wedding photos; and we were afraid that if anything they'd be just "okay" shots. From the time we sat down with her to the time we left, we had absolutely no doubt that we had found the perfect photographer.

Amy did a fantastic job at our wedding (and our engagment shoot!), keeping everyone on task in the hectic run-up to the ceremony and then capturing all kinds of great candid shots during the rest of the afternoon. Amy photographed my wedding this past December and I could tell from our first phone calls that she was going to be amazing to work with. She was thorough, more organized than anyone I know, attuned to cultural sensitivities, and incredibly passionate. Amy is an amazing photographer! She was very professional, easy to work with and we were super happy with our photos. Amy spent 8 hours with us on our wedding day and provided us with over 500 beautiful, edited photos. She was very flexible with our schedule and timing and made us and our family and friends feel comfortable and natural when taking all of our wedding photos. Great experience working with Amy for our wedding in San Ramon in early October. Waiting for the final prints from the wedding, but so far our experience in working with her has been great. We hired Amy because of her eye for capturing candid moments and can't wait to see what she captured. She was great to work with on the day of and had a great blend of not being in the way or distracting from any part of the wedding, yet I also knew she was there capturing so much of the activity. Amy shot our wedding this past wedding, and she was spectacular! We were working in a very limited time window, and she was able to herd a rowdy wedding party in some hot conditions. The sneak peak photos we've received are absolutely stunning! I don't think I've ever seen clearer pictures. Amy was just wonderful throughout our multi-day, multicultural wedding weekend. She was super flexible with her photo packages to adapt our "engagement" session to be our Buddhist blessing ceremony instead and was so professional navigating the various cultural needs of our multiple ceremonies. She worked well with our Rabbi and our venue coordinator loved having her as our photographer. And that is just her! We are not a fussy couple and don't typically enjoy posing for photos, but Amy made the whole experience fun. Her photos were more beautiful that we could have imagined

She's super easy and makes the process so much fun.
I wish she would have notices one, two things like: for the family pictures I am almost always leaning against my husband, facing the person next to me. So sometimes it looked like my dad or brother in law were my groom. And we spend so much time with taking pictures of just the two of us that there is only one nice family photo.
We still have a lot of wonderful photos that I love very much! We so enjoyed to have her for
