East Coast Performing Arts
Children of all ages can enjoy the movement and creativity in a variety of dance genres with our recreational dance program. Every student has the opportunity to have one on one private instruction from their choice of our experienced instructors. Join one of three competitive dance teams to dig deeper into the art of dance and build lasting memories along the way.

ECPA is a family oriented dance facility located in Debary, FL. Our dance educators, choreographers, and technical trainers are experienced in various genres of the performing arts. We all have a passion for teaching children through the art of movement, expression and feelings. We love to get creative and challenge our students to their fullest potential.
Services
East Coast Performing Arts started 5 years ago in Orange City, under the direction of Cara Lundquist. This is a family built dance studio where we provide a 2nd home for our students. We have an excellent staff fully trained in all genres of dance. Our teachers are constantly continuing their education and certifications to provide the best dance education they can to our dancers in the community.
We want the best for each student, who are inspired by the arts or just want to enjoy a healthy exciting day of dance! Our faculty strives every day to be more creative than the last, and privide a positive and energetic atmosphere for our students. Whether for fun and fitness or to develop technique and skills, we provide a full timetable of classes offering something for everyone.
A student's attire is a reflection of their discipline and respect for the art form. Placement and line are also paramount in dance. Our dress code allows our teachers to observe and correct the posture and alignment of our students. We ask that students come dressed prepared to dance in the appropriate dress code.
The ballet curriculum at East Coast Performing Arts utilizes both the American Ballet Theatre and Bolshoi Academy of Russian Ballet methodologies as the technical foundation of its most formal dance program. Our entire ballet team of teachers have each earned highly sought after certifications in these two renowned and prestigious teacher training programs.
We offer a recreational dance program available for ages 3-18. This is a program where children dance and tumble for the love of the arts. These dancers will have the opportunity to perform and be on stage at our annual spring recital. Sharing with friends and family their love for dance and performance.

They have amazing teachers who truly care about their students..the owner is genuinely involved and cares for all the students as well. They are highly professional and their eye for technique is 100% always in the best interest of the students. This place welcomes all their students like they are family and lifts the confidence and self-esteem of their students. My daughter has thrived so much and they have repaired damage that was previously done to her elsewhere. I am so grateful for all the teachers at East Coast Performing Arts.

East Coast Performing Arts is amazing. The teachers are highly skilled and always professional. My two girls have danced with this group of talented teachers from a very young age. My oldest who is now grown and has gone on to teach dance classes and still loves to visit her East Coast family to take a class now and then. My youngest has her sights set on Broadway! Technique is always priority. They have gained so much from dancing at East Coast and have grown into strong confident ladies and beautiful dancers. I very highly recommend East Coast Performing Arts. Best choice I ever made for my kids

My daughter has been dancing at East Coast Performing Arts since she was 2 years old. She has had every teacher, and every teacher is well trained and absolutely AMAZING! My daughter has made so many friends, and has grown so much! If your looking to let your child try out a dance class or your dancer is experienced and looking to dance competitively, you wont find another studio with as much heart and training as East Coast Performing Arts.

I have to say both my daughters have been coming to this studio for the past 7 years! I have seen such a transformation not only on the skills my children have when it comes to dance but with their character as well as maturing little girls. The dedication the teachers put into these girls is so admirable. I love to see my girls smile knowing they are able to accomplish what they set out for themselves and even push further. They are taught discipline, humility, technique, and most importantly how to embrace having fun doing a sport they love. My girls are both also in the competition team and

East Coast Performing Arts is an amazing dance studio! They have a true family atmosphere with highly skilled teachers who provide a safe and nurturing environment. They offer every genre of dance with expert instruction. Whether your dancer takes recreational classes or is a part of the competition team, and my daughters have done both, the individualized attention the dancer receives is equally amazing! The children and teens not only learn the joy of dance, they also learn life skills that can help them in their day to day lives. I wouldn’t take my daughters anywhere else.

My granddaughter has attended here for quite sometime. My standards have always been quite high when it comes to all youth
programs no matter the price. I can honestly say that this dance studio has reached far beyond my expectations. She adores her teachers. I am impressed by the knowledge of teachers and how they engage with their students but also remember they are still children. During this time of difficulty I especially was impressed by how east coast rose above it and has went out of their way to make sure everyone is kept safe, which has to have been difficult with being a dance studio

I was so adamant about going here for dance privates for a year straight. I contacted them a YEAR ago several times by email, no response. So I drove to their studio, where there was no real receptionist, just a kind dance mom who gave me a dance teacher's number to contact them about privates. I contacted the teacher, she didn't get back to me for TWO MONTHS. Needless too say I was no longer interested.
A year later, I'm looking for dance studios again and still think this one would suit me best and decided to try again. To no avail, no response.
I'm going to get real training from a real studio

*** amendment of previous review***
I must say, I was saddened and hurt by one individual’s lack of courtesy and professionalism. I can only hope I’ll be able to one day rescind my statement about her friendliness (or lack thereof), but I have been contacted by the owner/director Ms./Mrs. Lundquist, and expressed lament for said behavior and treatment. In fairness, the instructor (Ms. Erika) is wonderful and the professionalism showed by the owner to address my concerns is exceptional.
Therefore I’ve amended my rating to a more appropriate standing... I still think the smaller dancers should
