Had a really good experience with this company. They were reliable and friendly and went above and beyond by moving things out of the way in the yard in order to add more heads to my system. I was very happy with the service. They also have been doing my end of season shut down for a few years now. Recommend.

Crew was amazing. They came when they promised, showed up with 6 guys and installed a new sprinkler system in less than two hours. Heads are positioned perfectly to cover the entire lawn and foliage. And they were competitively priced. A truly great experience. I can not recommend them high enough

Don't use this company I made an appointment and waited almost a month for it and they didn't show up and then claim they did. If they had my dog would've been going crazy and I would have known. The woman who answers the phone picks up and says hold on and leaves you on hold for literally 5 minutes. I had to call back 3 times. How they let her represent them is beyond me as another reviewer posted. Her manager wouldn't come to the phone. Now I am stuck.

J&A was great!! From initial contact to estimate, install, and follow up it was a terrific experience. Jack always called me back promptly, they were on time and managed my expectations really well throughout the process. Having someone in the industry with 40 years of experience goes a long way. At the end of the day, the end result was great, as was their pricing. I would happily recommend them to family and friends.

We have dealt with many contractors/home improvement companies in the 14 years that we've been living on Long Island. All but one of them has disappointed us in some way or left us feeling somehow cheated. The only company that has been completely honest and reliable throughout is J & A Irrigation. They are consistently polite, professional and show up on time for appointments. Their prices are also very competitive. We highly recommend trying J & A out!

Once again J & A Irrigation has done another outstanding job. I have been dealing with J & A Irrigation for over 30 years.This is my third home and my third irrigation job done by J&A. the service is second to none, clean neat, the men were very courteous and professional.
Any issues I've had for service and preventative maintenance have been done on time every time. That's hard to find theses day. By the way, competitive pricing too.

Do not use J & A Irrigation. They cancel more then they actually show up. Not accommodating after they cancel. Once they canceled on me 4 times to turn my sprinkler on. My lawn died in the meantime.
And don't get me started on the receptionist. How they allow this woman to represent them?

This is not a company I would ever do business with again. Initially, had them come to check/open the sprinkler system. A month later there was a problem. They said it would be another service fee ($65.00). The worker, John was rude and nasty. The next day, the system was not working - they said it would be $225.00. You all know the saying "fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me". They are not reputable, honorable, nor do they stand behind their work.
Too bad, I cannot give a zero rating!

I replaced a frame, door, and hardware for J & A Irrigation about a year ago. Jack the owner was pleased with our install. Recently I needed to have my sprinkler system upgraded. I reached out to Jack. He explained in detail exactly what he was going to do. My wife & I are quite happy with the sprinkler system once again. Never would have met Jack if not for Google. UPDATE: I just want to follow up with a new review on J&A. Upon speaking with the owner, we were able to amicably and professionally work out what we both felt was a fair solution to my initial problem of being over charged for a service. He absolutely agreed that there was an over charge on my bill and I fully understand that this can and does happen. However, the outcome does not always work in the consumers favor. Well in the case with J&A, Jack was more than willing to adjust the price and stated that he did not want to lose any customer let alone one that has been loyal thru the years

I am so disappointed in this company. We had our sprinkler installed and they did a good job with that, but as previous reviews state, they seriously overcharge for the services. They give you an appointment time window and have been no call:no show, not reliable at all. Wouldn't recommend this company.
