Westhaven canvassers came through our neighborhood in Vacaville and were very friendly. I scheduled a consultation appointment and met with Kelly Hayes in January of 2021. He was very understanding when I told him that we had just started our solar power process and wanted to do a little more research and obtain other quotes before choosing a company.

First off I want to make it clear that my rating is based solely off Westhavens sales tactics, & not on actual service, since I don't plan on having that experience. About 2 weeks ago a neighbor texted me warning solar guys were in the area. She knows I have 2 babies & worked really hard to get the younger one a nap every day since I never trained the first, & that it was his nap time. Special shout out to Adam D. my sales / point man. He promised me a lot, to the point that another company suggested he was not being truthful, and Westhaven completely delivered. They got 22 panels and 2 powerwalls installed in about a month from me signing my contract. Install guys were all great, and nobody fell off my crazy steep 50 degree roof. Im pretty sure it took the county and PGE longer to approve and permit than it took Westhaven to complete the project.

Westhaven was amazing from knocking on my door and explaining all about solar and how it would benefit us to getting us on the grid. Kelly our sales rep was very knowledgeable and professional. Next came install and the install guys were very professional and thorough to the point they even replaced a few cracked tiles on my roof that were already cracked, definatly went the extra mile. There customer service call line is great and again very knowledgeable and helpful. I have already referred 3 of our neighbors who are interested in solar. I would give these guys 10 stars if that was an option

I had to come back to personally thank Austin for his knowledge and the very informative conversation. He explained that he is involved in the design process which definitely gave me more insight to the many options than I thought possible. I never felt forced or uncomfortable. It was more informative versus the typical pushy sales process.

This place has the worst customer service. 6 months later and a 3rd party engineer to figure out what is wrong with our system and about a week worth of missed work to let them bang around in my attic.
Wow I finally got my solar power turned on! Don't worry guys I figured it out on my own. Oh and thanks for the damaged gutter where you leaned the ladder on it. Most companies use stabilizers. I could go on and on but Im just glad this experience is behind us and move on...

I am rating 1 star primarily because of the Extremely Poor Customer Service and Lack of Communication/Follow through that we have experienced to date with Westhaven. Before we signed up with Westhaven, we read reviews and did our homework on the company and were very excited about getting solar and using Sun Power panels due everything that we read. Our experience since signing with them has been nothing but aggravating.
