I had scheduled a taxi with A1 Taxi for an early morning ride to the airport bus shuttle. After a 'no show' with A1 Taxi and frantically calling every other taxi company in the yellow pages, I called Classic Taxi. The driver was empathetic and honest, "I don't think we will make it on time as I'm dropping off another fare in about 5 minutes, but we can give it a try." Needed a ride from the south shore train station to an auto dealer 10 miles away in Indiana. So I scheduled a ride a few hours before hand. Driver was right on time as I got off the train, which was a huge plus since I had to be there by a certain time.
Driver was friendly, rates were reasonable, and let they let me pay credit card. I'm always a little wary about jumping into cabs without a meter, but these guys were upfront about the costs and there were no surprises. So, if I ever needed to call a cab in NW Indiana again I would call definately use this cab company again.

UUUGGGGGHHHHHH! This company was absolutely horrible! I had the most perfect wedding day imaginable, until it was time to go home...
My husband and I reserved classic taxi to shuttle our guests from our reception hall to our hotel about 4 miles away. We booked a van for 2 hours of service. The van arrived late and on its first trip took 45 minutes to return!!!! Did I mention it was a 4 mile trip? Because of this rediculously slow service, we were forced to extend our reservation to get all of our guests home safe. When it was my turn to get in, I was disgusted! The van was missing seats and interior
