I had a wonderful experience at Granite City Vision. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and Dr. Barber was very professional in her exam and report of findings. She explained the options I had going forward and let me make the decision I was comfortable with. The office staff made the whole appointment a seamless, easy experience. I would recommend this fine company to anyone!

Well let’s just say! I will never go there again, a little rude, noisy, and will up sale you on everything, you won’t get a itemized bill, can’t here them trying to over charge you over the office girls laughing and carrying on. I paid $600 and I don’t even now what there charging the insurance company but I’m going to find out! I should have read there review rating first!

We took our daughter there, seemed nice at first. Our daughters glasses broke a couple months later were told since she is on state medical the state wont pay for more til next year and they cannot help her. We called the state and were told they can replace her glasses as many times as needed with her being a child. We called back had to argue with the manager who finally placed the order in Aug. of 2019 was told would take a few weeks. Still no glasses until December we called them at least twice a month. So turned it into state again. Tried telling state we never ordered them although the

My first impression of the place was that it would be weird because it is in a building that looks like a house. I had to walk out before I could even finish paperwork. When I used maps to find the place it took me to an alley nowhere near the office, I called to ask for directions and was late due to needing them. When I got there they were rude bc I was late, but on the phone she was very understanding that I'd be late?? They didn't seem to know what they actually needed as far as insurance. First I needed to have my parents present and then just needed the last four of their socials

Rude and incompetent staff. If you go here and they make you pay for contacts there instead of giving you a rx that is against FTC regulations and you can file a complaint with them online. Also, if the staff threatens you, or in any way acts unethically then you can make a complaint with the board of optometry. Good luck to you if you're reading reviews after a bad experience like I did. It also appears that some of the positive reviews from Google are from staff members, as far as I can tell this is the first one on Yelp.
