Hugos coaching skills have contributed to gymnasts that went on to become State and Regional Gymnastics Champions. He has coached dancers, cheerleaders, actors, ice skaters, martial arts students, and other athletes, helping them to achieve recognition at National levels.

Hugo's GymFitness has been home to both fun and educational experiences for over 44 years. Hugo's Gymfitness is consistently rated as The Best Gymnastics studio in Santa Clarita! Parents along with trained instructors will guide these young athletes to learn skills for life at an early stage. Gymnastics will develop the flexibility, strength, tumbling skills and habit of exercise that our little ones will need in the future.

You'll feel like you've joined the circus, yet you won't even realize how hard you've worked. Each class is one hour long and is designed for all fitness levels. Whether you're a beginner or advanced aerialist, each instructor will adjust the moves according to your fitness level. We had never been to Hugo's when we booked a birthday party for my 8 year old. The price was right and it seemed like an easy party idea. I booked it over email, then went to their gym to sign some paperwork and confirm details. It was hard to get a hold of them sometimes - even just stopping by doesn't work if all the employees are teaching classes.

Amazing amazing amazing! Our first child with her first sports activity and she's doing a great job with these instructors. They individually work with each child and pushes them to succeed! Hugo is absolutely amazing and if you have a wanderer that may not like to follow directions, he will keep them together so the parents get their time off from telling their child to listen. His daughter is a splitting image of his training style so you honestly are in for a treat with either one. They pride themselves on social distancing which is so great while they still have a great time. The facility

We love this gym. Both my 2.5 year old and 4 year old attend Saturday's and look forward to it every week. They keep the children engaged and excited with new exercises and activities. The program is very organized and age appropriate.
There's a designated entrance and exit, to avoid crowding and provide for Social distancing, temperatures are checked at the entrance, hand sanitizer is provided upon entering, and during breaks for the children. EVERYONE, except the children on the mats are wearing masks.
I'm so happy I found this gym for my family.

We love Hugo's! My daughter looks forward to coming to her class. The gym is fully equipped with all a gymnast needs. The classes have a good instructor to student ratio. The class starts exactly on time, no wasting time & they go the entire hour (you get your money's worth). My daughter got a private lesson with Gigi & it was also very good. I am glad we found a place our daughter can enjoy with her friend.

Went in for a free trial baby fitness class on a Saturday afternoon for my 2yo and it was a TERRIBLE experience. We were told by the front desk person to wait at the bleachers until the coach called for the baby fitness class and when we walked into the gym it was complete chaos! There was no place to sit or stand and no social distancing. There was so much going on at once that it was overwhelming for ME so I can't imagine how my daughter felt. Then when the baby fitness class was called, we walked over to a long mat and the coach just told everyone to start jumping across to the other side

My two kids have been going to Hugos for over three years now! We are so EXCITED to be back again! We feel assured that they are doing everything within their means to make the gym clean and safe during crazy times like Covid! They are so happy to be back. My oldest loves Gym Fit Girls and has gained strength and confidence in her skills over the years. My youngest started in Mommy and Me then moved to Gym Buddy and now Gym Fit Girls. I have 3 daughters that have been attending Hugo's for over 4 yrs, my youngest started with the mommy and me and now is all on her own at 4yrs old. Taking classes at Hugo's has taught her manners, responsibility and lots of core muscle building. My two older girls have learned to the responsibility of staying in shape is important to keep your technique and skills. Hugo's has been responsible in following county protocols to remain open during the pandemic. I'm glad we could rely on them.

We absolutely love Hugo's! Wonderful staff and instructors, great equipment, and a very clean environment. My kids love coming to class and look forward to it each week! I love that I can sit close by and watch the whole class without missing anything my kids are doing.
They are wonderful here about instruction and making sure the kids are not only having fun, but also learning the correct moves. We have had SUCH a great experience with Hugo's! Highly recommend. They are really great with my 5 year old and push her to be better. She really loves it - more than anything! Ashley is her teacher, and she is fantastic. My daughter only wants her ;).

Today was our first day at the mommy & me class since my daughter just turned 18 months old yesterday and she had a blast. I was super hesitant because of everything going on with Covid but after reading their guidelines and all the precautions they take I was excited to finally enroll her. Everyone was wearing a mask and maintaining a social distance. Everything was clean and organized and the girl at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. Super disappointed in this place. My 3 year was so excited to join a gymnastics class, so I set her up with a free trial. Once class began, my daughter became upset because she couldn't see me amongst the large crowd of parents. I made myself visibly present and she ran to me. She was pretty upset but continued to watch the class. At no time did any of the 3 teachers tend to her when she upset nor did they try to encourage her to rejoin the class. They completely ignored us. Then I went back to front desk to express my disappointment and the clerk simply said "sorry." It was evident

My daughters attended an open gym at Hugo's this past Sunday! The cost was $15 per child ($10 per child if you attend classes there). It wasn't crowded at all so the kids were able to use every thing available. My kids had the best time here and really enjoyed the foam pit!! We will definitely be returning.

My Daughter and Son-In-Law started bringing my Grandson here for early Saturday mornings toddler gym class. I must say, it has been wonderful to see how much my Grandson, who is 2.5 years old, has grown to love this place and the coach (I don't know her name, but an Asian woman). She is absolutely wonderful with my Grandson and it's obvious he has grown to accept and feel wonderfully comfortable with her and her guidance.
I can see the positive effects of this class on my Grandson all around, when we are playing, walking, etc.

Unprofessional instructors (Tony) and a total lack of adequate supervision by staff during classes and open play. They are not equipped to handle small children and Tony is arrogant, defensive, rude, and disrespectful. I see children getting hurt during open play because the instructors are too busy talking to each other and ignoring the children. I witnessed children bullying other children and being physically aggressive towards smaller children and nothing was done until a parent stepped in. Such an expensive and disappointing experience.

Very unprofessional teachers! This is the worst gymnastics place I have ever been to in SCV. The young female teacher would rather yell at the kids then teach. The teacher yelled at my daughter and told her to go home 3x due her not sitting and watching the other kids play. They only do one gymnastics activity and when you have a 3.5 year old attention span it gets boring after 5 mins. The teacher will count to 3 and tell your kid to go home for not standing at there station by themselves and if they socialize with the other kids. I would strongly recommend not bring your younger kid here ever

My Daughter started bringing my Grandson, 2 years 4 months old, here to Hugo's two weeks ago every Saturday morning. The first visit was a little rocky for him, but the second visit he was much more comfortable. All in all, it seems to be a very friendly and supportive atmosphere!
Again, this is only the opinion of a proud Grandpa. However, the facility is always neat clean and very colorful and vibrant. The coach that seems to be in charge of the group is patient and one parent is allowed to be with the little one, but maybe a second supporting coach would be appropriate?

My daughter (who is now 4) starting going here when she was 2. We started with a "Mommy and Me" class which I was very happy about because I was with her the whole time. This gym is so big and can be overwhelming for very young kids, so the Mommy and Me class helped her to not be afraid when she started her own class.
She is now in a gym buddy class, and I love that I can see her improvement ... even with only coming once a week for 45 minutes.

I did one afternoon of their winter camp and was excited because it seemed like a fun activity for my kids to do. When we arrived and I was signing up, the male instructor came out and saw my three kids. I think he was overwhelmed because he was handling about 20 kids total and wasn't friendly at all. He did a loud sigh to his co-worker, a female at the front desk and was complaining.

I came to Hugo's in 2011 after being recommended by a friend, ive been through their GymFit girls program, tumbling, and was on their competitive girls team for two years. i've learned so much here and even returned to be a coach. the environment here is so welcoming. they focus on growth and progress and are very reassuring!

Hello everyone! I am a coach here at Hugo's. There is no other place like Hugo's Gymfitness. I started coming to Hugo's as a student 7 years ago for tumbling, parkour and open gyms. For the last 5 years I have been coaching the best kids and adults in the world. I love coaching all my students and watching them grow and become better athletes and roll models for the future. Horrible !!!! Don't sign up your little ones up (1-4) very boring and kids are in danger of getting knocked over by the big jumpers because there all on one floor. The activities they do are to long with kids attention span being so short there wondering off or there gazing at the ceiling . 2 thumbs down ! #wasteoftime try out before you sign up !

Hugo's is by far the BEST gym in Santa Clarita. (And we have tried them all!!) Within the first two days of my daughter joining the team here, both Hugo and Megan knew her name, knew her skill level, and worked personally with my daughter. There is always someone saying, "Hello!" at the front desk when we come in. I am thrilled with honesty and integrity of the management. Everyone involved knows gymnastics, has been a gymnast, and cares about the gymnasts that are coming into the gym! We couldn't be more thrilled about making a switch to Hugos! If you try it out you WON'T be disappointed!
