We are Bryan and Ashley of Alacrity Photography. We met in the winter of 2007 in a camera store, of all places. After a few weeks of chatting, we realized we had actually met each other four years earlier, online! One year later, we built our photography business together and in Fall of 2009, we got married.
Shortly after our wedding, we traveled from Wisconsin to Portland and fell in love. We just knew we would live there someday! Five years later, we made it happen. After six months of enjoying our new home in the Pacific Northwest and years and years of trying, we got the best news we could ever imagine.

Services
Free Flow Sessions are as natural as a walk in the park. You get to be in charge of the location and we'll be in charge of making sure you end up with photos that capture your true essence. Do you like to hike, barbecue in the backyard, go on picnics, play on the beach, or splash around in the water with your kids?
I've done a couple head shot type photo shoot sessions with Ashley and one with Brian and I love the photos that I've gotten out of it! I have so many more to choose from than I thought I would and they all look great! I love being able to share all of these photos on my website, emails, signs, and social media pages.

Ashley was an absolute joy to work with. She really took her time to get to know me before my shoot, and helped me Out the pick out locations for the type of look I wanted for my photos. I used her to do my professional portraits to be used on LinkedIn and my other social media platforms.
Her personality is so easy going I just wanted to hang out with her all day. When I got my pictures back I was more than happy with the results. She made it so hard for me to pick favorites because I loved them all. I highly recommend using Ashley for your portrait photography needs.

I just did a mother-son photo shoot with my 3.5 year old at Jenkins Estate. The photos were taken by Ashley and I'm so happy with them! As a mom herself, she is so patient and good with kids, even one as crazy and energetic as my son. She helped him run around and get his wiggles out in between shots and we got some amazing prints that are precious memories for me. I also loved her tips about where to place my dress when sitting, which way to face, and to move my hair when it blocked my face. All things I'd never think about - but very grateful that her professional eye helped us look our best

Had our first family photo shoot here in Oregon and we were nervous because we also had our dog. Ashley and Bryan were amazing! They made sure we were comfortable and they were very patient and friendly! Our photos are amazing and we highly recommend this team! We will be hiring them again in the future!

Ashely took porch pictures of our family of 7, including 4 kids, ages 2-9. They came out SO GOOD!! She did such a great job capturing our family and the personalities of each of the kids. She was super patient with the kids, very respectful of keeping her distance and wearing a mask (even if the kids weren’t social distancing 🙄).She Had so many fun ideas, but also just went with the flow and got some great candid shots. I am thrilled with the pictures that are a snapshot into our lives during this pandemic, and will cherish them forever.

When Ashley took my head shot photos we did 2 different outfits and several locations walking around the downtown Hillsboro area. It was so much fun and she knew just where to go for some awesome backgrounds that worked with my brand.

Ashley and Bryan make photo sessions a lot of fun. I have a very energetic 19 month old who loves to run around, and wont sit still in a studio. They were very patient and understanding when he needed to let loose and run, and really good at finding ways to get his attention on the camera. I love this outdoor option to have photos, especially with how beautiful our city is.
My son's dad, who hates having his picture taken, even saw the photos and wanted some of himself and our son. We've now done two shoots with them in the last month :)
