Services
A shoe with a deep toe box that is wider and rounded at the toe to accommodate forefoot deformities. Diabetic Insert - lightweight, resilient, designed to alleviate foot pain related to diabetes and arthritis. Used to cushion the foot and absorb shock and fit comfortably regardless of the patient's footwear style.
We carry a full range of durable medical equipment for your patients' medical needs. We work with patients' insurance to get your prescribed equipment covered so there is little cost out of your patients' pockets. Many physician orders require prior authorization or additional steps to be covered through many insurances, but our staff will contact your office to let you know what must be done to get our patients their supplies.
Like many things from the past, we're built to last, but some things stop working so well after time. Knees grow weak with age, gallons of milk seem to get heavier and we don't move as fluidly as we once did. At Alden Medical Supply, you are more than the sum of your prescriptions. You're a photographer with a bum leg.
Caring for your parents can be stressful, but here at Alden Medical Supply, we take the hassle out of getting your folks' medical supplies. Our knowledgeable staff will fight for your parents to get their products covered by insurance. We also offer a free delivery and fitting service for our patients who cannot make it into our store themselves.
In today's ever changing world of health insurance, each company and policy vary in what is covered and with what frequency and volume you can receive the product. We would be happy to answer any questions you have, and contact your insurance to check on your specific plan to see if you have coverage.

Avoid at all costs. I was quoted for an item and they verified my insurance would cover a portion. They assured me that portion was covered and they spoke with the insurance. 2 months later I get a bill in the mail saying the insurance didn't cover that portion. I was lied to so they could get my money and get me out the door and left to deal with the issue later. I was assured 100 percent insurance would cover my portion, but I guess they never actually called to verify.
I would recommend service elsewhere.

Ordered pull ups and diapers for my disabled son. Back and forth for two weeks. Then they said they ordered and it took another two weeks. I bought elsewhere in the mean time. When I went in to get them there was minor rudeness about how long it had been and that they left me a message. But the message I had was that they got the diapers but not pull ups yet. Could have been my phone having an issue and I didn't get the second message. Either way. When I got home both packages were diapers. No pull ups.
