Dr. Bashiri received his dental degree from the university of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco in 1993, and completed his postdoctoral studies in periodontology and implantology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles in 1995. He remained in Los Angeles to work and held a clinical associateship teaching position at the University of Southern California for two years.
Since then, he has returned to the Bay Area to open his own periodontic practice. I had a very positive experience with this office. I was referred by my dentist for receding gums. The thought of gum graft surgery terrified me but I knew I couldn't put it off forever. Dr. Bashiri answered all my questions and put me at ease. The procedure itself was completely painless and the recovery was not a big deal. I had some discomfort but never any real pain, and ibuprofen for a few days was all I needed. The office staff is also wonderful. I hope I never need to see a Periodontist again but if I do, I'll come here without hesitation.

This is a very efficient office using every computerized practice tool possible. I can't say enough positive things about his front office staff his receptionist is a jewel..
Dr Bashiri has treated me in the past quite successfully but now I'm back with another periodontal problem. He efficiently examined my mouth and recommended a new treatment
His receptionist clearly explained the costs of the treatment and what my portion would be. I agreed and she scheduled an appointment for the procedure.

I recommend this practice. I have been a patient of Dr. Bashiri for over 25 years. He is a man of integrity. He doesn't sell you any services you do not need. For example, I have periodontal disease and have had a lot of gum loss over the years. For 25 years, Dr. Bashiri has been trying to save my teeth for as long as possible through routine monitoring. He could have tried to sell me dental implants but he never did. He explained the situation clearly. With diligence, we saved a tooth that could have been extracted years ago.

I was referred to Dr Bashiri by my dentist for specialized treatment. As Dr. Bashire and his staff will contest too, I was perhaps, one of their most anxious patients. They were wonderful, friendly, helpful and extremely patient. Dr. Bashiri did marvelous work, I really did not experience any pain. Post treatment and explanation was great. My procedure was uneventful. Like others, I am not a fan of the shot. But
Dr. Bashir was gentle, which made the process less painful than I anticipated. He was also very thorough and fast. I have great confidence in his practice and plan to recommend him to my regular dentist as a periodontist to refer patients to.

The communication and office staff were timely and welcoming. Dr. Bashiri himself was careful, efficient, showed a great sense of humor, and explained my dental health in a straightforward way. I could tell, here's a guy who know's what he's doing, so I felt at ease. Best of all, he explained why I don't need treatment right now, so add to the list of recommending qualities that he's trustworthy, someone who puts the well-being of his patients first.

Great office, very friendly staff. Dr. Bashiri cared for a deep pit in my gum and smoothed out the bone. Was as painless as possible and good instructions were given for post-procedure care. Most surprisingly, Dr. Bashiri called that night to find out how I was. Hope to post more after followup visit.

I love my appts. w/ this periodontal office because everyone looks out for the comfort of the patient I have very sensitive teeth and receding gums. Very good experience. The office was very prepared in providing great hygiene. Katrina was so very helpful as well and my dental hygienist, she was so awesome providing such great care and concern as to how I was feeling and she did a wonderful job since I haven’t had a cleaning in a while due to the pandemic.

Dr. Bashiri has been caring for my teeth and gums for about one year. His office staff and Hygenist are warm and responsive. He takes special care to make me not feel any pain when performing procedures and his skills are outstanding!
I had a difficult tooth extracted last week. No pain during and no swelling or pain afterwards!

Dr. Bashiri came highly recommended by my dentist of 15 years and he recommended him because my dentist said that he performs just the right amount of treatment. I love that because the last thing I want to do is be overly aggressive when it comes to periodontal work. My gum graft procedure, which is the first surgery I've ever had in my life, went extremely smoothly and it is thanks to the calm and professional nature of Dr. Bashiri and his staff. thank you very much!

I was referred here from my normal dentist for an examination. I was told that with my insurance it was going to have to pay $120, which I wasn't willing to do. The knocked it down to $90 and I agreed. I honestly didn't feel like they were doing me any favors, as I wouldn't have paid the $120 and they would have been out that, plus the money from my insurance. I month later I get a bill in the mail for an additional $60, so I ended up paying $150. My normal dentist never have a problem knowing what it is going to cost me, and I doubt these guys do either. There billing department
