LSYC is the host of a large inland fleet of Star class one design racing boats and offers an active weekend racing schedule that non members are encouraged to join. The club hosts several regattas through the sailing season including the Lake Sunapee Open Regatta, district level Star regattas, and recently hosted the Star North American championships.

Services
The Lake Sunapee Cruising Fleet is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to the sport of sailboat racing on Lake Sunapee. Our fleet has been in existence since 1984. From late May to early September each year, we race on Lake Sunapee every Wednesday evening and 5 Sunday afternoons. Our goal is to have fun while we race competitively and safely.
The August Series concluded with 1st Andy Ivey w/Amy Ayers/Lovelyn Ivey, 2nd John Chiarella w/ Rip Cross, 3rd Mike Kelly w/John Wulf and Erin Kelly 4th Dag Lidbeck w/Stanford Tyler. The Labor Day Series was well attended with 9 boats completing the series. Special mention to Merle Durant and Charlie Fairfax who broke their mast on the leeward leg of Saturdays fist race.
