LSYC is the host of a large inland fleet of Star class one design racing boats and offers an active weekend racing schedule that non members are encouraged to join. The club hosts several regattas through the sailing season including the Lake Sunapee Open Regatta, district level Star regattas, and recently hosted the Star North American championships
