I've had several things tailored here and they do a great job! The tailor doesn't push unnecessary alterations and really seems to want you to look and feel your best in what you are wearing. I recently took two sweaters to Q tailors for rip repair. One sweater is Merino wool, and the other is Angora and Cashmere. I thought they were both unrepairable, but they did such a good job that I couldn't tell when I picked them up where the damage had been. The die match is perfect, and both repairs were inexpensive. I've had several suit repairs and have ordered two custom suits. I've had nothing but great experiences here. For the quality of fabric and options on the tailored suits- I've been very impressed. They take about 30 measurements for the suit and it's about a 30 day turnaround. Have always had great service from the little lady who works the counter. Highly recommended if you need simple suit repairs (pockets tears, size alterations on jackets, etc) or custom suits in the 1000-1500 range.

I've been coming here for 5 years and have never had a bad experience.... these other reviews seem off to me. The lady at the front has been very helpful and friendly. I've had two suits with pocket tears and she fixed them for 15 bucks each time. Another time I needed to alter the size of a jacket and they did pretty good work considering the situation.
I've also purchased 2 custom tailored suits here. They outsource the material and take about 30 measurements. First suit was absolutely beautiful and fits perfectly. Waiting on my second suit now. Expect about a month wait

My husband takes all his business clothes here. They always do phenomenal work. We highly recommend their service. It is a little pricey compared to other tailors, but you pay for quality. The one time we tried a cheaper tailor, they ruined one of his blazers. Never again. We will always go to Quivera Tailor.

Great work but a little on the pricey side. The only reason I would not use them again is their credit card machine NEVER works! On the 3 occasions we have used them it has never worked, and the last time I was there the guy behind me said he has learned just to bring cash. Kind of annoying to have to go either get cash or find a check and come back. They did offer to let me have the clothes and come back on Monday and pay them, which was an incredibly kind and trusting offer, but I managed to find my checkbook in the car.

They have been entirely unhelpful. My recommendation is to go elsewhere. My husband rented a tux from here for a wedding. They forgot to order the bow tie and vest. They also gave the wrong shirt, which was ruffled and wasn't realized until the wedding. He had to switch shirts with the groom's dad. When asked for any compensation for the wrong shirt, they pretended not to understand. 250 dollars for all of the wrong stuff.

The quality of their alterations is average. They are very over-priced. I paid $70 for a simple hem on a formal dress. I have gone to this tailor for 3 years. Each time I am more and more disappointed. To their credit, they can do last minute alterations, however the owner's lack of friendliness or customer service leaves a bad taste in your mouth. I vow not to go back!

I have taken many items into Quivira Tailor. Every single time, I have been more than satisfied. The quality of work they have done has always been top notch. I've had them do hems, tapers, and minor fixes on clothing. All the work has been exceptional. The work LOOKS great and I have never had an issue with the quality. I have never had an issue with any work they've done, however, if I ever did, I'm sure they would be quick to fix the problem. I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone who needs alterations done.

Brought in a pair of pants and a suit jacket on a Tuesday. Wanted the pants lengthened and brought in at the waist and the jacket's button moved. Both jobs were done perfectly and were done by Thursday. Had to pay beforehand though- I don't know if that's normal for a tailor. Overall I walked out satisfied and felt the prices were completely reasonable.
