L&M Auto Repair first opened its doors in 1967 as a general auto repair facility under Leon ("L") and Marge ("M") Woods, who called the shop L&M Shocks & Trailer Hitches. The Woods family provided excellent automotive services to the Wichita community for nearly three decades, until they decided to retire.

My 19 year old daughter took her car in for diagnostic. Their estimated to repair was $816. We checked online for parts cost and total online for parts was under $200. They were charging $646 for same parts. When we questioned them about the estimate they said well we have to make a profit. I assumed a small markup on parts along with labor cost would be sufficient for your profit. But $816 is insane. We decided to find another mechanic to fix her car for $280.

Brought in my truck for oil change, tire rotation and coolant flush/replacement. I just recently moved to the area and had to find reliable mechanic for regular maintenance on my vehicle.
While I was waiting for my vehicle there were several other customers who came in and I could see that I made the right choice. I observed that the facility was busy but very productive. I really appreciate the work and what I paid for my services. I will be regular customer when my vehicle needs serviced.

My work van needed some repairs, never had time to get repairs done i need my van every day. So when L&M Auto called me to paint there Waiting room area. I took I always like to trade with business that call on me. They got my van in, they inspected it and sent my pictures on what needs done and gave me options to repairs. I said as long as i get my van back at the end of the day, i said proceed. They got my van done and i have a great new front end and brakes feels great!!! I highly recommend L&M Auto!!! Thanks

I always hate taking my vehicle to a shop, because I always feel like the shop is looking for a way to screw you out of more unnecessary repairs.i never got that feeling here. These guys were straight shooters. They gave me an estimate and they stuck to it. They also gave me a ride home from the shop And a loner when my parts took longer than expected. Honest, and friendly is the feeling I got here. Thanks for a great job guys.

I am traveling thru Wichita on business in my rv and needed an issue with my lights on my toad checked out. I called them and they said come on in and in less than an hour they had diagnosed and fixed the wiring issue that the install had screwed up. Then the charged me a more than reasonable price. With me being not from there I was expecting to get ripped. If I ever need anything else done while on the road I will try and wait until I can get to Wichita. Its a shame more people do not conduct business like they do.

I was traveling from out of town passing through the area when my engine began to run rough after a stop. I did a quick search of "close" auto service shops to have the problem diagnosed. At 8am they were the only place open and the reviews were positive so I decided to give them a chance. I was greeted by Levi and the technicians rapidly analyzed my car within the hour. No one wants to hear their engine is
