I have used Bob Armell to appraise many homes before I list the homes.
I have used him for 30 years. I have always had a great experience with him. He is a very professional person, and I would recommend him highly.

Very poor job. Lots of errors and did the minimal effort with fewest comparables possible. Late in turning in report as well. Final report was subject to a repair that is not typical for a conventional appraisal but which clearly allowed him to get a re-inspection fee.

Received a VA Appraisal from this company for 600$ you would expect a decent effort or amount of work for that price.

Wrong.

They couldn't get anything right. The didn't even get the zoning right. Missed the fact the house was in a damn flood zone and that it had a highway easement through the property.

I called twice to try and get the info fixed and get a real estimate on price but didn't get a returned call. Only follow up for payment.

Worst company ever. Avoid at all costs.
Worst 600 bucks spent of my life. We ended up not even buying the house.
