For 20 years Mindfulness Meditation Centers has served as a compassionate and wise source of classical Buddhist teachings closely aligned with its heart essence but delivered in a modern context. We offer everything from foundational mindfulness meditation practices to advanced retreats and programs that are focused on compassionate enlightenment.

All of our programs are offered in person and online through our interactive learning program. Our main meditation center is in Julian California, located just an hour East of San Diego. Mindfulness Meditation Centers was established by Lama Chokyi Dhakpa (Michael Gregory) and his senior students with the blessings of H.H. 17th Karmapa, Ogyen Trinley Dorje.
Services
MMC also has a very active social media presence and interactive following with a world-wide community of over 500 000. Each day we post inspiring content on Buddhism, Mindfulness and Non Duality on our Facebook Pages and Live Classes are offered twice a week. Path 1: Exploration and Foundation encourages exploration in the teachings and practices and establishing a solid foundation and understanding of Buddhism and meditation.
Mindfulness Meditation Centers is devoted to providing clear and precise teachings and a supportive and wise community that gives every individual the opportunity to be free of suffering and compassionately train the mind toward enlightenment. Our Four Path System prepares practitioners through providing the stage of practice, teaching, and support required to develop on the path to enlightenment for every level of practice and interest.
We are dedicated to providing a quiet, calm environment in which all can practice meditation. Take advantage of this precious time for the inner journey. We ask that in the common areas, including outdoors, you do not engage in conversation, even quietly, and attempt to operate without eye contact or gestures.
Mindfulness Meditation Centers offers a deeply experiential and comprehensive online learning program that teaches the heart of Buddhist philosophy and meditation. Our offerings were created to make these comprehensive, accessible Buddhist teachings available to everyone everywhere. Weekly live classes through our virtual Live Online Zoom classroom, that each have a teaching, question and answer, contemplation and guided meditation component.
Join us for Sacred Sundays an invitation to mindfulness, wisdom and compassion in our lives, relationships and world. Classes are led by wise and compassionate teachers each week and include heart awakening teachings and guided meditation.
