PTE Precision Machining (formerly, Patten Tool and Engineering) is conveniently located in southern Maine, immediately across the river from Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Our strategic location has allowed us to better serve our customers, whether local or international. PTE Precision Machining is a full service machine shop offering CNC machining, manual machining, welding, and fabrication.
PTE Precision Machining was founded in 1972 on Badgers Island in Kittery, ME. From modest beginnings in a small garage, PTE has grown to occupy an 11,000 sq/ft machine shop offering CNC, manual machining and welding and fabrication services. In the beginning PTE provided machining services to the Navy and over the years PTE began designing equipment for a variety of industries and applications.
