Michael did such an incredible job on our photos! He was so nice and made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We barely noticed him during the event, which is something you always want. Michael really took the time to get to know us as people, and learn about what we wanted and how best to capture our vision. We wanted to do something unique for our engagement photos. After doing some research we came across Steven Miller Photography and their Starry Night Sessions. We fell in love immediately. He answered all our questions and addressed all our concerns. We followed Steven's lead on the best time to take our Starry Night Photos and decided to take them in early May. Steve made us feel at ease from the very first meeting. He had such a warm and friendly personality that he was able to get these two introverts to feel comfortable in front of the camera. Steven was delightful - professional, efficient, fun, personable, & knowledgeable. We did outdoor engagement photos in July with our dog. We were sweaty messes & the dog was being extra, so when we left, we said, "There might be one usable shot in there." But to our surprise (we had faith in him, but again, we did not set him up for success), Steven managed to capture a BUNCH of wonderful photos! Then he came to do our wedding photos and everyone ADORED him. He gave direction without being bossy, he HUSTLED, and his confidence made it easy for everyone to stay calm. If we could give Steven Miller and his team 10 stars for our engagement and wedding photo experience, we would. You can tell from the website that the photos are top-notch, but what the website can't tell you is what a genuinely fun, friendly, and kind person Steven is. (We even had guests comment on how cool he was with them.) We felt so comfortable and like he was a natural part of the day, someone we could have an enjoyable chat with while also getting amazing images. If I could give this a rating of a 10 I would have. I knew I wanted Steve to photograph my wedding before I met my husband as I was in a wedding he did. When we had our first meeting with him and I walked in and saw how my husband and him had already bonded within 15 minutes of meeting I knew I did not have to look any further. Nelson, our photographer from Steven Miller Photography, did an amazing job capturing the most special moment of my and my financé's life. There was not a photographer more dedicated, passionate, and engaged in our magical Disney proposal than he! LOVED working with Steven, he was so amazing and our pictures turned our GREAT! He is very laid back, fun and such a unique photographer. You can tell he has SO much passion behind every single picture he takes! My father loved him so much he booked him for their vow renewal on the beach 4 hours away and he went there with no problems & the pictures were breathtaking as well! I enjoy the work of this company. Unfortunately, their follow up and subsequent communication is null and void. I met this company at a wedding expo and loved their pictures (or at least the ones on display); specifically how they were familiar with my venue. So far we've only used Steven Miller for our engagement session (he includes a complimentary engagement session when you book him as your wedding photographer!) but it and all contact leading up to it have been stellar. Steven responded promptly at the initial contact and has done so ever since, and sends what he says he'll send when he said he'd send it.
